Lol no you dont.... If you did you wouldnt be trying to put the positive probe from the dmm to the + on the master amp, and the negative probe to the - on the slave amp.. That proves right there you dont know how to strap them... Oh well not my amps, good luck frying them! You might want to turn your bass boost all the way up too, it will sound "louder".

No, you do not use negative speaker output on either amp to connect a speaker. The negative speaker outputs from master amp get connected to the negative speaker outputs on the slave amp using 8 gauge wire. Then you hook your speaker(s) up using both positive speaker connections on the amp. Your positive speaker wire(s) would get connected to the positive outputs on the master amp. Your negative speaker wire(s) would get connected to the positive outputs on the slave amp. Again, negative outputs on both amps are to be connected together with 8 gauge wire. Got a small update My mom called me today and said i got to put her pc back to normal. She said the screen was failing. I went over looked at it, the graphics where getting pixelated and tearing. The 7900gt co superclock (my old card) was getting pretty warm on the memory chips. Ive never had a problem with it in my case, but I only got 7 80mm fans, and then a 120mm zalman copper cpu cooler, so Ive had good airflow. Where as her case has the cpu fan, the fan in the psu, and the added vent fan I put in. I remember the cooling being a problem with the cards (7900gt co sc) becuase the heatsink was just for the cpu on the card and not the memory. I remember getting a email alert from evga to exchange my card for the newer cards with the better heatsink (the 7900gt ko superclocks) but never did because I had no problem with it, and planned on getting a after market artic cooler (but never did) So I re thermalpasted the heatsink, and tried running a lower clock frequancy on the memory of the card (brought it down 300mhz) it seemed to work a bit better, the memory chips didnt get as hot, but still had some messed up pixels. So we went for a trip to best buy. And this is what we got for her computer. xfx 9600gt 512mb ram. Then her new card next to my old 7900gt It installed in the case And my mom playing her pogo games and a lil shot of her computer room.. Notice the little Apple on the left...

v snyc on will give you a better visual expieranec, and will help with any sorts of tearing or glitching from your graphics card. I been playing since 1.0 before cs was a steam game, I know all about the little tweeks, but the human eye cant tell bewtween 100fps vs 200, 300, 400, 500 etc fps. Im hitting pretty high numbers, I have no reason to bump it up more Thanks btrash. I just like knowing I got even more extra room needed for gaming now. CS is hit or miss, but Ive always seemed to have prompt recones done with fast turn around times. the first gen z1 is garbage, the z1a is great however most issues are caused by user error. Thenew z2 series lv and hv (low volt & high volt) are to be great. They replace the z1 and z1a and put out way more then the z1, z1a, and old z2s. Id buy the new z2 lv or hv way before some hifonics amp. Plus you can get the z2 lv from a dealer for right around $1500. I think the hifonics is around $1700 for 5000wrms and the z2 lv will do well over 8000rms at 14.4volts. I wouldnt buy a dd z1a online used unless I seen the amp in person to be fully confident that it is a z1a and not a z1, I wouldnt buy a z1 at all (but would use em if they where free to me).

Update: went and tried putting the risers between the mobo and the case, but they where way to tall and all the cards would be offset way to much to even fit the case. So I put the pink packaging foam that the mobo was shipped on between the mobo and case with some added electrical tape around the mounting bases in the case. I put it all back together and hit the power, and its all working. Right now it is formatting the hard drive, getting ready for a fresh copy of windows xp pro. This black rig is my moms old Ibm, that Im upgrading for her. It will be slightly overclocked. Im not gonna push it hard since I wont be their to monitor how it reacts. I want it to be stable for her pogo games and what not. I will try and see how far I can bring the p3 2.6ghz up on stock cooling and depending on how far I get it will result in my final speed I will choose. Im really hoping it will hang good on 3.0ghz. but I will be happy with 2.8 or 2.9ghz. The video card is my old evga 7900 gt co superclock. pci e 16, gddr3, 256 mb of ram. Its stock coreclock is 550mhz and a 1580mhz memclock (factory oced). With rivatuner Ive reached a 625 coreclock, and 1640mhz mem clock (without volt mod or bios flash, but re-artic silvered the cpu/heatsink ). Tho in my moms computer she dont need it overclocked tho I may run riva tuner for full fan speeds 24/7. She needs no side panel screen or any of that jazzy stuff. It looks better being a sleeper and on my rig, I got no need for a side panel window since its a clear acrylic case I paid under $60 for the crapstar mobo, and I think I paid $30 for the 2 gigs of corsair xmx, and $6 for the artic silver. the cpu and heatsink is reused from the old mobo, and the video card is from my computer which also got upgraded today. So for under $100 this computer got a face lift and then some. Since it will be pretty equalivant to my pc before my upgrade, I may install counter strike source and see how the computer reacts. 30 minutes until windows is finished installing

I was already watching that upon installation of the new mobo. The mounting holes are all the same, both are micro atx boards. The raised pins on the computer case are pretty narrow so shouldnt be shorting out, there is more then enough clearence by the looks, more then the old ibm mobo. I was going to use the little pins that raise it up even more, but did not look needed upon installation. But I did want to pull it out and try it like you said. Needless to say I passed out in the lazy boy and took a lil weed nap. I woke back up around 4 and did somethings, then messed with it some more. First I take it all out, and try again with just ram and on board video. What?! wtf is this? Is it actually posting? zomg I can see the light! So I turn it back off, and install my old 7900gt. Yay windows!!! I dont know, maybe something was still shorting out on the board, but it looked to have a lot more clearance. It could of been a lose power connection on the 20 to 24 pin converter, or the other 4 pin connector. No idea but its working now. I guess its time to put it all together again and see whats up. Maybe Ill try the mobo risers for even more clearance just so I can fully eliminate that as a plausible cause for not turning on.

Yea, like I said, Ive read some pretty awful reviews about them being doa. I just havent seen any other socket 478, pci express 16x, and ddr2 boards around, so it was kind of amazing to see some crap company make one. Hopefully I find a good one. And the bright side, theres 14 with in a 35 minute drive from me at a local computer store, tho they do cost $75. But Ill just return the bad to newegg. I cant wait for rma's to happen. ^^^^ Nice Ok, so I start tearing apart the IBM, pretty basic. I get the mobo out I take the heatsink and cpu out the old mobo. Looking at the boards side by side. I noticed the way the heatsink attaches is different. I take the heatsink base off the old mobo. I take the heatsink base off the new mobo, and put the one on from the old mobo to use the stock cooler. I put the processor in the new crapstar mobo. I put some artic silver on the cpu, then set the heatsink on to smear it around for a even coat. Go figure the front panel connections (hdd led, power led, power, reset) are all in one plug, and the plug on the new mobo is not the same. So i had to split them up. Got it all back together. Hook it all up, hit the power button.... and.... FAIL I swap the power and reset around on the pins, thinking maybe I put them on backwords, nope. So then I jump the pins on the mobo to turn power on, nope. So then I say screw it, and grounded out the green pin on the 20 to 24 pin adapter, power supply turns on, the case fan, and cpu fan spins, the hard drive does not seem to turn on, nor will the drawers on both cd roms will open/close, and the monitor never gets a signal. I dont know what else to try, I pulled the ram, still nothing, then pulled the video card. Trying to limit any possible conflicts. But gets me no where. I knew I shouldnt of gotten this mobo there where so many other bad reviews.

Me too, I thought Id be a little different and try something different then blue. Change the way my room lights up in the corner a lil. Havent got to mess with the card to much yet, popped in some beta drivers and they seem better then the disc drivers. I wanted the xms xpert ram at first. It actually had a led programmable display. Very pricey, but read countless reviews that it didnt overclock too well. So I got the 2 gig kit of the XMS C2 Pro. I seen a matching kit selling on newegg.com but was just the XMS Pro, not the c2 which offered faster timming. But of coarse newegg was out of stock so I didnt order it at all. I got my eye watching tho. I think 4 rows of them leds would look badd ass!!

Now here comes the next project. Gonna start on it in a little bit. Its my moms IBM. Its kinda dated... Lol I got here to buy all the stuff and would upgrade her pc if I could get a new video card (and id give her my old one). She mainly plays Pogo games (she has a paid subscription)....... The Computer is kinda slow on the video side of things. Specs IBM Prebuilt Windows Xp home edition 2.6mhz intel celeron socket 478 onboard video/sound/networking pci linksys wireless card 80gig harddrive 1 gig stick of muskin pc2100 (which replaced the 512mb pc2100 stock. Stock mobo wont support more then 1gig of ram). So the memory upgrade was the only upgrades besides the wireless card and a extra case fan I added. Lol Plans for this thing: Upgrade mobo to the biostar so I can use a pci express 16 card. Upgrade ram to 2gigs corsair xms ddr2 (because thats what the new mobo supports). Format hard drive. Install Windows Xp Pro Maybe a slight overclock on cpu (2.7 or 2.8mhz nothing major). Hopefully this will bring the IBM back to life A couple pix:

She will just be admitting her fault more. 1) they admitted their fault by paying you directly for repairs and not the insurance company. 2) You have every right to get or not to get your vehicle repaired, and have it repaired by whoever youd like and whatever time. If you got the moeny from the insurance company and never had it repaired, do you think the insurance company is going to come looking for their money? No they wont. Tell them to bring it to the courtroom, then counter sue for more money because the estimate was not enough for the repair job do to the econemy. The worst that can happen is you wont get extra money, and its not like they other people will get their cash bacl. The judge will prob tell them, thats their problem for avoiding the insurance company. Lesson learned. Lol

I just thought it be kinda cool for lans. I just had another brain storm tho. if you got a strong powersupply, just use one of those 12 volts coolers for in the car. I know you can get some with regular 110 adapters too. Slide it under the table at the lane and your good to go.
