Ok I have a couple video games from recent video card purchases. The 2 games are Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, and possibly Splinter Cell: Blacklist I say possibly on the SplinterCell game because I already activated the code on the sheet that came with my video card which in return gave me another promo code to be used in the Ubisoft checkout of the game to make it free (but I never used that 2nd code). So it should work, but I cant be 100% certain if there is any sort of deadline or expiration on these codes. The only game I acutually played and registered the code on Ubisofts website is for the Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, which I got 2 promo codes for, however 1 is already used so Im just giving away the 3 of the 4 codes that SHOULD work, since these are not my type of games. Turn the subwoofer volume up as far as it goes, it reduces the preout voltage for your subwoofer channel when its turned down, which in return makes the signal weaker. So say of your radio has 4volt preouts, having the subwoofer volume at 0, your lucky to be sending a half volt of signal through your rca cords which is not enough voltage for the dd-1 to detect, but once connected to an amplifier (which amplifies that voltage hence the name amplifier, you see a signal). Numbers are just being used as an example. So turn subwoofer volume up all the way Than find max clean volume of the headunit, if its volume 35 of 35 with the sub woofer volume all the way up your done, than proceed to tuning the amp gain with the dd-1. If you are using the amp on the deck for your vocal speakers inside your car, you can also use the dd-1 to check the max volume of that amp by touching the dd-1 probes to the speaker outputs on the back of the radio (generally the radios internal amp will distort a lot sooner than the preouts of the radio and will yield a slightly lower max volume). So once you have the radios internal amp volume noted, than proceed to the rca outputs and the subwoofer volume, which would still be all the way up most likely. then move to the amp gain for your subwoofer. You will always want to tune your radios volume with the volume, and subwoofer volume as high as you can go without distorting prior to tuning the external amplifier(s). If for whatever reason you dont want your substage to always be so loud you just turn down the subwoofer volume, and then turn it back up when you please.

The style probes really does not matter, the unit works the same way, and the pin style probes are nicer, more user friendly and similar to what you would find on a digital multimeter.

The metal you're grounding to probably isn't very think. Which doesn't help a self tapping screw. This is how thick my truck spare tire area was made out of. All that means is you need to use more self tapping screws!!! 1 self tapper in the center hole of the ring terminal then put a screw on each outter ends of the ring terminal so it doesnt wiggle back and forth!! LOL

Become a regular on the server and game with us and TS info will be giving. Right now there is only so many TS slots which will get upgraded in due time if we can get the server populated nicely, along with VIP slots which will kick a non vip member out for a vip member

Since no one is going into why you need a recone, Ill explain that for you. Your basket is bolted to the motor, often times to get these bolts out you have to remove the current softparts off the basket. Which means cone, surround, dustcap, spiders, voice coil. Granted some baskets allow you to remove them from the motor without undoing all that, BUT you still need to remove the parts from the old basket to put them on the new basket. The high strength CA Glue that is used to bond the spiders to the baskets is not going to allow you to remove the spiders without damaging them, no matter how hard you try the parts will not be reusable. If you damage the spiders anyway you got to replace them, in order to replace the spiders alone you would have to remove the coil from the cone just so you can can access to the voice coil former to slide the spiders on from the top side of the coil. But before you do that you would have to remove all that old glue off the voice coil, and its not worth all that effort and time to clean that coil off and hope you dont damage its windings, or leadout wires, or deform it. Your carbon cone should be reusable as well as the dustcap if its carbon fiber, and even polypropylene caps can be reused at that point but the time to clean them off vs a few bucks for a new one just not worth it, now thats completly different when your talking about more expensive composite and carbon fiber cones and dust caps. After your all said and done a new recone reusing your cf cone is not going to be much more expensive then trying to rig the speaker back together with a new basket and surround, and after its all said and done its like a brand new woofer
