  6. Still underpowered by a lot! Box was designed for a good 7000rms, and right now it only has an American Bass 150.1 running both subs at 1.5 ohms so maybe 1500 watts or so.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXC87NLNeb4

  12. Yea, but I dont think its Itunes fault. I think the blame is to be layed on these over night comeup rappers with shitty recording labels, and crap producing is most to blame imo.
  13. ^^^ your fusing is almost double of what is needed by that amp. Id hope you have no problem.. At that point why even run a fuse? its not protecting much of anything since its fused to big for the wire and the amp.
  14. what type of fuse are you using, makes a big difference.
  15. I think my main problem I am running into at least with my old chip, is I only have 1.6volts to give the cpu. I have full control over my htt, fsb and multiplier. Tho not only was my old chip a single core, it was also a san diego chip, which was a good chip for clocking like the old clawhammers iirc. Im thinking I really need to volt mod my bored to get more power to the processor. Id like to get this chip to 2.8 or 2.9 without having to buy anything. It dont pay to by old school ram for a old pc that is due for an upgrade
  16. Its old! Heres some specs.. Mobo- Asus A8N-E flashed to 1013 bios. Socket 939... CPU- Amd athlon 64 x2 4400+ Toledo 2.2ghz clocked at 2.6ghz (seems no matter what I do, how loose my timings are, etc I cant get anything over 2.65 stable). Zalman 120mm fan with a copper heatsink. Vcard- EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ Superclocked Ram- Corsair xms C2PRO with activity led's (two 1gig sticks) ddr400 clocked at 213mhz per stick. my old cpu was a AMD Athlon64 3700+ Sandy. 2.21ghz stock, and I easily got it up to 3ghz+ on air! Tho this cpu still seemed to bottle neck my video card and got the 4400+ really cheap, and outperforms the old cpu at a lower speed, so i cant complain. But some power would be nice I think I gained around 1500 3dmark06 scores.
  17. Get a alarm... Makes no sense to put all this money into a car, and not attempt to protect it at all.
  18. Welcome new mod So Mr. Overclocker, How can I get passed 2.7mhz stable? My old chip was easy to reach 3.2, and this new(er) chip has me baffled still benchmarks higher then the old chip tho
  19. $1500 For a used one maybe . That price is not much above cost. Msrp is up there iirc, but some people have gottem them for $1800-$2100. I would really be advertising map pricing online tho, and besides that whoever will expect to buy it at that price will have to find a local dealer willing to lose out on a big sale since internet sales are not allowed. And going direct thru dd they really wont give you that price unless you got some stats to back your name. Id also say the DD Z2lv too, but they wont be back in stock for a while. otherwise 2 dd m3s strapped would do the trick to and be very close if not more in rms output.
  20. most the times, companies dont actually fix them their selfs. They contract out a repair facilty to do the warranty work. I know when my kenwood crapped out on me, I contacted kenwood and they told me where to send it. I forgot the place I sent it to, but it was in PA i think and wasnt an actual kenwood repair center, just an authorized repairer, and it was free of charge just pay shipping there deal.
  21. no, they will just charge you for it. Otherwise check http://www.pacparts.com/ (i think) they sell parts, but dont think they do repairs. Id call the manucactur of the radio otherwise and see who their authorized service center is.. You may also try to contact united radio and see what they say if they can fix it. http://www.unitedradio.com/ Its probolly easy to fix yourself if you got the parts. But depending on what it costs, and what you paid for it, you maybe better off getting new.
  22. Lots of people have. I remember seeing a few builds here with the home made ports. but i couldnt tell you who or where to look.
