probolly me  http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=18000 Not trying to be mean, but these threads get locked all the time, and everyone is for the same reason I gave him. I just seen another one yesturday locked by roscoe. Also if you are hoping to hit some really high number, DONT, because when it turns out not as loud as you expected to you will be dissappointed, hence why I said some low ball db.

89 Mustang Voltage Drops With Small System?
audiofanaticz replied to pk222's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
depends on your budget, you dont have to buy the biggest battery possible. You can get a powermaster d925 for the same price as a yellow top and it will also put out more power. http://www.jegs.com/i/Powermaster/713/D925/10002/-1 and if thats still to much, Im sure you could always goto a auto parts store like autozone and buy 1 or 2 cheap duralasts that have the highest cranking amps. something like this http://www.autozone.com/R,APP336393/vehicl...oductDetail.htm And then just put that 2nd battery as close to the amp as you can with the least amount of wire used. Yea, but Im also betting that kx800.2 is putting out more power then his audiobahn. its fused at 120 amps, 840rms bridged @ 4 ohm 14.4v Im thinking that kicker is slightly under rated, and making more then that 840rms -
89 Mustang Voltage Drops With Small System?

No and no. Just about every member of the forum is running at least two batteries You will kill your alternator buy having a crap battery and draining it dead and relying on your alternator for the current. Me, I just want to use my alternator to keep my batteries charged, and use my batteries to play the stereo. -
89 Mustang Voltage Drops With Small System?
audiofanaticz replied to pk222's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
You are not going to fry your amp from the voltage drops. The amp draws less then 100 amps most likely. Ive seen my friends audiobahn hc2300a drop his voltage into the 10s in his cavi with stock alt, amp still works fine. You only got to worry about frying amps due to low voltage when you have monster amps that are 3 and 4 thousand rms, drawing over 300 amps of current. I dont know what audiobahn amp you have, but if it is a HC series, it is high current which means it takes more power for it to make its power. You can do the big 3. You can upgrade your wire to at least 0 gauge if not already done. You can upgrade your battery under the hood, and put a spare one in the trunk. Other then that, theres not much that can be done. -
who says its even real. There are some pretty good photochoppers on this forum, Im sure there are people out there that can do the same work with video too. Theres just to much that could affect the realness of the video. If its real then damn it sucks, if its fake then nice edit job. Crap like this happens all the time, it will catch up with the people sooner or later

Sorry to hear it man. Did you have the dog since a pup? Ive heard that after females have pups they become way over protective to anything and everything. I also heard that pits that get treated badly through out their lifes tend to snap on even their owners once they get older. I always liked pits, but Id only would want a male, and it would have to be a pup. On the brightside tho, at least you got a nice looking litter of new pits

You also got to think tho, these people are over there for so long and just get sick of it. I would probolly do some pretty messed up shit to get a dishonarble discharge or something just to go back home. Kinda like that crossdresser on MASH, sick of the war and just trying to get home. LoL

OMG im so sick of seeing these threads.... There needs to be a post stickied for the noobs that states something like.... THERE IS NO WAY FOR ANYONE TO ESTIMATE HOW LOUD YOUR CAR IS and or WILL BE. You can get matching cars/amps/ subs and just because one vehicle will hit a 150, doesnt mean the other one will too. There are so many varibles its not funny. Such as 1 amp may put out more power then the other, one car might have its seats in different positions (yes seat position effects the meter), one power wire maybe a bit longer causing more resistance. My guess, I say your car will do 101db on a 60 hertz burp.... Why, because never expect anything for score. You can have the best audio gear avaible and still have a shit score do to poor install, poor knowledge.

Nothing much really right now  Rockford fosgate t10001bd with 2 missing resistors wired at .8 ohms. Digital design 9518 w/composite cone and c/f dustcap in 6 cubes. 1/0 rf power wire and big 3. Iraggi 300 amp alt Transpo adjustable voltage regulator red top under the hood, and a powermaster d3100 in the trunk

What Can A Lvl 5 10" Take For Burps?
audiofanaticz replied to andym85's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
No soup for you, continue the spamming! No idea, and dont really care, either way you look at it is that is loud for 10 6by9s and are greatly exceeding their power/peak rating. -

audiofanaticz replied to andym85's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
It has nothing to do with hating. Im just stating that MANY subs can handle more then their rms/peak ratings for burps. 3 seconds of a crap load of power will not kill proper built speakers. Shit man, goto roe and watch the video of the stock 6 by 9's in a wall hitting over 150dbs, Im not sure how much power they where gettting, but Im sure it was way over their ratings As for sending people to where I stay, you want my adderess? I need some good cheap entertainment    Ill be sure to have them cameras recording Edit: the TEN 6 by 9's hit a 169.2db http://realmofexcursion.com/videos/Various/6x9.1.wmv -

audiofanaticz replied to andym85's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Not really impressive at all, there are many subs that can handle well over that (being cheaper in cost) for burps. -
what are you wanting to compete in? There aint to many outlaw spl shows in wi that im aware of. In WI we got a new thing being tried out this season that is called the cash clash, you can win money in this event, and Im pretty sure you can use ipods in this too since it is not a sanctioned event. also check out www.soundmekanix.com for all the WI shows

Loads Of My Songs Play At Different Volumes
audiofanaticz replied to Beckett's topic in Tunez - All things music related
Im not a ipod user, but your problem is most likely different KBPS. Since I dont know the apple software I dont know if there is a fix to level them to all the same, but otherwise you can use a additional program such as acid pro, fruityloops, vegas, adobe audition to make the files all the same, then import them into your itunes software. -

my local shop (I support my local shops as much as I can if they got what I need). Although I used alot of the 8 gauge terminals up today, I need more. But they seemed to solder great for me (first time doing it).
