The CMT stuff is a pitch remover to get gunk off saw blades, router bits etc. Im heavily excessive on my wood glue, after every router pass I have to clean my bits bearing and cutting edge due to glue and sawdust build up on it which makes it not cut flush, gets hot, and dulls the blade. The pitch remover cleans it off with ease. Its a whole shopfox table saw, got it cheap brand new for something like 1300$ shipped from amazon. Now its 1950-2000ish... decent hobbyist saw for sure. but i get it dirty a lot and needs to be cleaned well again since i do a lot of building on it.

Coleman came through with a couple rolls of OFC to finish up the wiring the alternators, batteries, and amplifiers. Checking depth and placement was getting low on MDF again so I had to restock.. Grabbed some Loctite PL Premium 3X right away too. Dust collector was full again......

Your hole post is crying about having to pay for 2 day shipping.... All due to your order taking 7-10 days to process which is extending the shipping times, and its not free shipping so your mad. Even if DB-R had the amp in stock at his facility, chances are you wouldn't receive it in 2 days because he has to repair them first, but that is only done after an order is received. Unless your the only person buying a blown amp and DB-R has nothing else to do but fix your amp, it still wouldn't be processed and shipped the same day as you placed your order so you can have free shipping. Grow up and get some damn patience. The world doesnt cater to you, nor does it owe you anything. The sooner you realize that, the better off you will be in life. Thread is locked.

your bitching about 2 day shipping costing 35$? Thats cheap. I sent an amp out to a guy 4 hours away from me that cost 41$ for ups ground that took 3 days. They cant ship something they dont have, let alone ship something blown that has to be fixed first..

Another rainy day so Im learning sketchup some more. Getting some ideas in my head.

Id want a .3, but for the time and being broke a .2 will work I just messed with my first .2 last week on an install and it made me very jealous! The .2 walks all over the JBL MS-8 which was a pain in the ass!!!

You already hit the nail on the head... People want to be hand feed everything, and are to lazy to look for the simplest answers themselves. There is a very good search feature on the forums and if you use the advanced search you can thin out the results even better and more on topic for whatever your looking for. But if people cant do these simple things, what makes you thing making a notification pop up prior to them posting is going to make them read it and do what it says? The chat room is a perfect example of doing just that. The chat is meant to hang out in and just shoot the crap with other members and have a good time. correct, this is the airspace inside the walls that are already built. the only thing that will be subtracted from that 50ish cubes is woofer displacement, baffle displacement, port displacement, and bracing. edit: To put it simple, if I built what i have drawn it would slide right into my current shell that is in my truck already built.

You physically cant just buy looking at it through a vent hole on the woofer. You can easily tell upon building the woofer or if your cutting it apart for a recone. At those 2 times you can easily count the layers of windings around the former. The 8layer coil will usually be a little bit thicker due to it having twice the layers of wire wrapped around it. But this is not always true because sometimes it maybe 8 layers with a thinner gauge material making the outside diameter pretty close to the 4 layer coil with the heavier gauge aluminum wrapped around it.

Nah. the power of google, figured it out, changed my keywords to square foot, found a video and the guy also said how to do it in cubic feet. Lucked out. Still could of measured it and did the math way quicker with pen and paper than the time it took me to draw up that irragular shape. 87135.7514 / 1728 = 50.4257820602 cubic feet That does not include the walls of the shell, just the airspace housed inside the walls

lmao! But it just goes to show my point. What did skecthup actually do for me? Not a damn thing. Sure it looks cool, but thats it. Its not telling me its displacement like some say sketchup will do, and I already got this far without it, and just doodled some lines on a piece of paper of what I was wanting, and changing them as I go where needed. Now if it showed which panel went where on the design i could maybe see it being useful but so far no bueno!

So apparently you can get displacement of a box if you use sketchup, so I spent about 2.5 hours learning the program and drawing out my wall via the internal diameters of my shell in hopes to get its physical size. From what I can find, nope... Unless Im doing something wrong. No idea.. But this is why I dont do designs for people due to wasting time drawing on a computer while i could of had that said box I was drawing cut and almost assembled in that amount of time. Granted I can see why designers draw them, so people know how and which way to assemble the cut panels together. Its just not for me though. Oh well I guess it kinda looks cool, but really it was nothing but a waste of time at this point. Back to crunching numbers manually.

Havent been able to work on the hoe since the 19th had another install going on. Sprayed a little foam last night, made a battery rack today and trimmed the foam i sprayed yesterday. So not much of an update.
