  1. I grind off the paint so shiny metal shows. Ever think that you can fish the wire from outside to inside of the trunk? Idk, it worked for me so i don't see how it wouldn't work for someone else. I usually don't sand metal either. Grinding works better for me, LOL.
  2. If you don't have a battery in the back or you don't want to spend extra money on wire, drill a wire sized hole through the trunk to ground to the frame of the car.
  3. You wouldn't notice a difference between generic rca's and stinger rca's, besides how they look.
  4. Give yourself 12-15 feet. It's not expensive and extra wire don't hurt!
  5. 12 gauge is plenty, but if getting 10 gauge sits better with you then by all means get it.
  6. Dont plan on fitting the proper box for a 15 in there. I have a 2.3 ft3 box for a single 12 in the trunk of my elantra and it barely goes in a out of the trunk. Plan on building it in the trunk if you want to do the 15.
  7. Type in "stinger volt" and scroll down. You will eventually see the blue volt meters.
  8. Sounds like ground noise maybe? Check your grounds. If you need to, ground your head unit.
  9. That's why i said if mounting depth allows. Two 8's don't need >2.00 ft3.
  10. There is nothing wrong with giving two SA-8's 1000 watts. Is there a law somewhere that i missed seeing?
  11. If the mounting depth lets you, i suggest two SA-8's.
  12. The only wire i have connected to my amp is the power wire. For the turn on i just spliced it into my head unit turn on, and for my ground i just grounded to the strut tower of my car. For me, this saved a lot of wire, plus there are 2 less wires at my amp (always a good thing!)
  13. A hidden bass knob would have the same effect. Just turn it up quick between bass hits.
  14. I like the first one's flow a lot more. I couldn't really pick up what the second guy was rapping because he was going a million mph the whole time.
