  1. nice little sales pitch there... edit, i was being sarcastic..
  2. I haven't played this personally, but I've seen it played, and it does look like a step back. Cartoony graphics and retarded games...I dunno i'd much rather have a "real" system...
  3. But what I'm saying is that an amp won't draw more than it needs. Unless you're running a 16v system, then its a different story. But if you supply a 14v constant supply, the only way that the amp could see more power is if the alternator surges, which i've heard can happen somehow.
  4. Capacitors don't push power, power is pulled from them. The amp will pull as much power as it needs, not more.
  5. Yes you should technically have fuses before and after every battery. Not everyone does it but its a good idea.
  6. T2k
  7. Please use titebond over liquid nails
  8. I've seen that box before... Its a dual front loaded horn. But that's already been built. I'm not sure if youre trying to pawn that off as your own or what, but thats lame.
  9. No Dynamat's real good stuff...But youre right thats a noob install...(btw not downing on second skin at all its just that ive used dynamat and it does work great)
  10. Thats some badass work, and draggins cool and all, I just wouldn't be able to go and do all that work and then scrape it all you know? But nice s10 for sure.
  11. agreed thats a very noob statement to make. Ive built ported enclosure that can out punch the sealed enclosures they were in, while still going low. And btw, "boomy" is actually a bad thing...
  12. I'll trade you my speaker amp for one of those, straight across. The amp is practically brand new PA SL4-1000. I only used it for a couple days before I took out my old system. It's yours if you want it. I'd rather have a sub that I'm not using over an amp that I'm not using.
  13. Are you putting 2k to both or 2k each? 2k each get a loaded BL or stock BTL, 2k total youre fine with a couple SSD's (although get the BP power upgrade if you can afford it)
  14. Well I'm now building a wall of 8 12" subs, but not CVR's. We can ixnay this thread mods, or let it die on its own, I've made my decision...Very happy with it too haha
  15. I've got a 4 channel I can sell you for $100 shipped. It'll put out 85 watts, and if you use the high pass filter it's perfect for your speakers.
  16. damn this guy knows whats up!! I posted the same thing 2 or 3 posts up...didnt even notice you did too till now!
  17. Fuck it, I'm seriously considering buying 8 12's and walling it off. They'd be entry level subs, but itd still be very very loud, and I can always toss better subs in there later on. Plus it'd be real fun to build, always wanted to do a wall.
  18. 2000lade played around with 4 of those I think...He got them pretty loud...MA makes some pretty good product, not the best but good if youre on a budget.
  19. some captain morgan mixed with lemonade...don't knock it till youve tried it. mmmmm...rumonade...
  20. Yea I'm open to brand suggestions for the 12's. I need close to 400 watts of powerhandling for each sub, and they each need to be dual 2 ohm.
  21. yea i used to have a d6...sounded good but I wasnt that thrilled with it. Buddy of mine has 2 10" d3's and they sound real good, so I have no qualms with going with Diamond. Although I will take suggestions. Anything $90 or under per sub.
  22. What exactly are you going for? SPL, SQ, street bass...and what kind of music do you listen to?
