    I'm still building the passenger side door pod, so I've only heard it with one side hooked up, but I really like my CDT's.

    ^^ and most music doesn't play below 40, so that'd work. And yea kicker and RF both put out real clean watts. Definately get a couple extra batteries.

    I believe the Kicker's have a fuse rating of 150 (300 total). I think a T20001bd has one of 200 or 250. So if you only looked at that, the Rockford would be less of an electrical load. You'll still need upgrades though. I only have 200 amps of current draw and I can't push my subs as loud as I could without bad voltage drops.

    I don't like fiberglass cloth at all compared to the mat. Haven't used woven roving. But yes use mat on the flat surfaces. Not just resin. A resin pool 45 will add some strength in itself, even moreso with mat over it, but you definately want to use mat too on the flats.

    No, 4.5 cu ft NET is fine for 2 12's. You could go bigger if you wanted though its up to you. net volume means excluding port and sub displacement. So pick a volume, and you then when you go to design the box you'll have to alter the dimensions to account for all the extra displacements from the subs and port.

    That makes no sense. 1.5 cubic feet isnt lost to 45's and sub displacement. I dunno if youre figuring in port displacement yet, but you shouldnt be because you have found your port length yet.

    Yes you can, but the current coming off of the remote wire from your head unit is very low. So just pick up a standard 12v relay if you plan on running remote wires to a lot of amps. But, you might as well daisy chain the remote wires. There's no real point to a buss bar for them.

    for the money? JL is the most overpriced brand out there. I refuse to pay 600 dollars for a sub that only handles 750 watts.

    lol why do people insist on buying jl? If there were any other subs in there, I'd be impressed. Because while not super impressive, it's clean work at least. And yea, I've had to buy everything you see me post on here. Much better that way IMO. And I'm only a 17 year old senior in high school.

    Yea, but was the port reflected off the back hatch? I dunno if that would even work, but it's worth a try. Or you could try port forward with the box all the way at the back?

    lol, but .5% is still high if you compare it to McIntosh's .005%. But thats a $2500 amp, and only does 600 watts. haha nuckin futs

    1% THD is ridiculous high. RF T10001bd = 1300-1500 watts at 1 ohm, .5% thd i believe, and only 360 shipped if you look around ebay.

    Not sure what car this is in, but you can try having the port facing up at the very back of the cargo area, reflecting off the back hatch/window.
