  1. Those subs are complete shit. I learned the hard way. Are you sure you even have room for 4 15s? Do you plan on upgrading your power any time soon? If not, I'd just go with a 15 or two.
  2. How would a carpenter square help you make straight cuts? You need a guide too. I've of just cutting of a length of mdf, and using that edge as a guide. Of course you'd have to do the rest of your cuts from the other end of the board.
  3. Honestly a long straight edge (long level, piece of aluminum, etc.) and a couple c-clamps works just as well as a rip guide. Table saws are very useful too though, for smaller cuts, 45's, and a few other things. So I'd still get one if you can afford it. Just make sure works well.
  4. The aeros will give you less port area. But as it is, it sounds like you don't have enough port anyway. What are you at like 9 cubes?
  5. What are you tuned to? What what calls for? And that is pretty high. Set it to wherever your mids drop off. You can play with it till it sounds good.
  6. Just pretend like there's only one speaker there.
  7. If 45hz is 2.5db louder, then obviously 45hz will be...... louder. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/73689-songs-that-hit-around-44-to-45-hz-ex-muscle-cars-e-40/
  8. And here http://www.amazon.com/SMD-DD-1-Distortion-Detector/product-reviews/B00802PJ7O/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
  9. Didn't realize that was the problem. Why didn't you say that in your first post? Anyway, have you tried Rhapsody? http://www.rhapsody....ul-imperfection I don't know who DJ Monsta is, but you can search for him. Edit: or amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Ddigital-music&field-keywords=psyph+morrison
  10. They don't sell the itunes cards at any stores near you? http://www.ebay.com/sch/Gift-Cards-/172009/i.html?_stpos=&_sop=15&_fcid=182&gbr=1&_localstpos=&_nkw=itunes+card&_clu=2 These are prices shipped to slovenia.
  11. ..... You could try measuring your cargo area. Just an idea.
  12. What coils?
  13. Do you want mono mids and highs? Probably not. You should really only need like two 4-channels if anything. Plus a mono for your subs.
  14. That's a helluva lot of displacement for only 2 woofers. SMD 18 is only .26 cuft.
  15. What are your max dimensions? And how big were you planning on going? The H/O alt leads me to believe a couple thousand watts or more.
  16. lol at 5 year old thread jack
  17. I don't know about a line driver, but you're generally supposed to use the -5db or even 0 to be safe.
  18. You're right, each side should be half of the width of the vertical part. Which track did you use when setting your gains? I could be wrong, but I don't think your port can cause smelly coils. Your box can only control what your subs are doing mechanically, but your subs are producing too much heat, so it has to be either clipping or overpowering. Again, could be wrong.
  19. Well shit it doesn't have a remote turn on? You'll either need to wire it with a switch to the battery, or to an acc wire or something.
  20. Just run the wires to where your amp is going to be and leave it disconnected till then. When you install your amp, connect the voltmeter to your amp.
  21. Dont be a fucking twat. you are on a car audio forum. I was agreeing with another member that you are not looking in the best place for legal advice, any numb nut on here could say they are a lawyer, or think they know what the fuck they are talking about and give you bad info and get you screwed even more. So on that note, good luck, hope whoever you listen to isnt full of shit. Dick. And really, how the fuck do you know? I myself was sued for copyright infringement a couple years ago, and beat the case. So no, I have no clue.
  22. Alright so here's where it's at now. Unfinished, not even bolted down yet. Literally the last screw I put it, and the ONLY split piece. Went too deep with the damn countersink bit. Oh well, nothing that can't be fixed. Next time, I'll try to buy a shit load of clamps, and not use screws. I honestly didn't want to use screws at all, but clamps aren't cheap. Unfortunately no pics of the build process. Didn't want to get mdf dust and glue all over my sister's camera... Not missing much anyway, it's a pretty simple box. Here's my current head unit. It's whatever, only cost 60 bucks, and distorts at like 43 out of 45 IIRC (but I set the gains at 30, because that's where my speakers start to sound shitty.) Would love to get an Alpine, but that's the last thing on my list at this point. Here's the speakers I'm running, and these are the ONLY ones I have at this point. They actually sound pretty decent, but definitely do not keep up with the bass. At least not on head unit power. Yes there's dust everywhere. That's kind of how it is out here lol. I took a few more pics, but I need to clean my car a bit and retake them Almost forgot to mention. Took a drive to wal mart today and went the long way so I could listen to it. I am FULLY impressed by this thing's quality and loudness, especially for only 300 watts. Beats the hell out of my Boss 12's on "1200 watts" of power acoustik power. Seems to have a nice frequency range too from what I listened to. Some day, I'll have to find a nice empty place and really test it out, and possibly get vidz.
