  1. 150 would be the safe way to go. You want to fuse at or below your equipment fuse rating to protect it.
  2. Add 2 of the stinger inline fuse holders and the 200a fuse
  3. How many leads are on the 0 to 4ga distro blocks?
  4. I'll take the 4ga black and the volt meter
  5. Its possible to run 14v or 16v batteries but it's pricey and easy to screw something up. You can also make you alt put out more voltage - even a stock alt. Unless you know what you are doing, take the advice that's been given and stick with 12v batts.
  6. Look at the thickness of the magnet and also the distance between the surround and the center cap. Even that M3 Mojo is beefier than the pic you posted. That is a regular M3.
  7. Please help my son Billy win a photo contest just go to piedmont parents.com and vote for his picture FUN AT THE BEACH. Thank You :)

  8. bump
  9. This is a voltage control module, not a battery. Thatnks
  10. ^^^^^
  11. Really!?! Nothing from no one. Not even a smart ass remark or a good chastising??
  12. How many amps are you consistantly pulling?
  13. Titla says, need one of these asap.
  14. my vote is for the sound deadener. Thought your vote is the only one that really counts. Sound deadener and electrical are the 2 first steps when your goal is building a stereo system in your car (aside from planning and financing).
  15. a few d3100 should help though you may need a 2nd alt. You are talking 5kw RMS right? Like you said you get what you pay for. If you can't afford the high dollar stuff and you dont want to save over time you may need to rethink and downgrade your system goals.
  16. Is this just a dumb question or beyond general knowledge? Maybe the wording ?
  17. Is it possible to run 2 rectifiers off of a single alt. Consider leaving the stock inplace and taping into the normal 3 wires for an external. External independatnly regulated to 16v and leave the stock as is for stock electrical. Is this practical? Is this possibe? What are the draw backs / challanges? /discuss
  18. There is no reason not to fuse. If the amp is already internally fused, well, then it is already fused.
  19. I might take these if they are here still in a week. Does this include the bolt to mount to the batteries? Will the stock (post mount) bolts from a d1400 work on these?
  20. I ordered a batch of pro b-stock. Hope this doesnt sell out cause I will likely need another batch.
