what size fuse to put??
vettedude102 replied to imfrom210texas's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
But 2 15 amp fuses times 14.4(voltage) =432 watts That's all it'll be able to push. So technically 8 gauge will be fine. Edit: But I would rather do it in 4 gauge than 8 -

There used to be a thread on top of the electrical subforum that said what fuse to use per size of wire but I can't find it. -

Also bought some dual inputs. Super quick shipping. Great guy to buy from -
I hate running/hiding the wire. And deciding where to place things. Cause I like feedback but my brother is tired of me asking him his opinion. Almost forgot I absolutely hate putting my box in my car. It weighs about 100lbs at least, and there isn't any sort of leverage. Hafta go in thru the passenger side door and fold the seats down and keep going back and forth from passenger to driver side sliding it back.

Stinger Led Volt Meter Issues
vettedude102 replied to potatochipd's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Steve is coming out with a voltmeter too? Mine messes up quite often. Hafta unplug it and plug it back then sometimes it'll be fine. -
cause Kranny is awesome lol

Should you use speaker wire for power wire? Speaker wire and power wire are the same thing as long as it's the same size/brand. Can you still have distortion when using a LPF? Yes Can you send a clipped signal to a subwoofer? Yes. What is a clipped signal? Dirty power Should you play a song farrrrrrrr below tuning? No, because it can bottom out the subwoofer. Do voltage & amps matter when powering an amp? yes Can an average human determine 1% distortion? Very doubtful. Can you under-power a subwoofer even if "Scoped" or using DD-1? Yes, because some amps won't magically make up for the wattage just because you tuned it correctly. Are kicker amps the only amps that do rated power? Hell no lol. Do ohms matter when connecting subwoofers? yes I answered what I could.
