Really wish I could've made it Oh well. Great scores with the stock alt, especially on music. I really liked the sound of your lower tune myself, and I'm glad just switching the position of the subs gained you that much. If there's a show next weekend I'll see if I can't make it, my stock alt is dying now, so voltage drops are getting worse and I'm afraid to stress it as hard. I'm going to throw in a 2nd run of 1/0 if I can and see if that doesn't do a little (gained me 1v and over 1db last time). If I can get some time when the wifes working late I'll give you a call. Not the most serious bass cd, but The Crystal Method- Vegas has always been one of my favorite techno cds, it's actually the reason I first got into car audio. I heard a friends setup with some subs on the first and 3rd tracks and had to upgrade... Great cd overall imo.

I'd get a BL, but they do very well with 1500-2000rms. a sundown 1500 would be good. My brother has a bxi2006d on his with pretty nice results- for barely over 300 bnib it does the job.

I'd like the size/price of the s10s. Plus you can fit a nice setup in there. You shouldn't have trouble finding one for about 3500-4k. Then save a bit more and get the big system. Unfortunately those blazers (my brother has a 4.3 v6) seem to get pretty bad mileage. I think he was getting 14mpg or so hauling nothing, while my yukon/tahoe get 16+mpg hauling 500+lbs of stereo. An extended cab s10 might fit something nice w/out a blowthrough. I think explorers are pretty well priced as well once you get into the mid/early 90s, but I don't like them NEAR as much as the chevy's unless you get the one with the v8. No offense to anyone, but I'm not a fan of rice at all- you'll have trouble with your electrical upgrades in a smaller car too (try finding a 200+ alternator, or fitting mutiple ones- P.I.T.A. Get a truck...

Looking great- Those little details are what makes your builds so good in the end. I feel you on the yardwork, I've been doing a lot this week too. Our house looks like the crack-house on the block after sitting vacant so long (10 years or so). Finally only have a few things left to paint (most the house is brick). Hell, some of the brick cracked off our front steps, I have to fix that soon too. >sigh<

Damn it, I just broke the clasp for the rear glass in my tahoe. There's the hatch, and the glass that also opens- that locking mechanism must have come loose in the locked position about an hour ago My sunroof doesn't leak if I push it back down from outside, but it's off track, and my rear light for the 3rd row I don't have keeps falling from the ceiling. I pray to god nothing important breaks though- I just had to get new side-view mirrors. btw, As ghetto as it was, I used a few squirts of great-stuff in my OLD yukon to hold the a/c controls in place (back up behind it after it fell out) - it worked GREAT and helped keep those rear vents from vibrating as much.

I feel for you guys. I was dating this REALLY hot red-head for almost 4 years. She was perfect, we even got engaged. We were in love, and she would call me all the time missing me. Then there were a few problems with her mom, and before long we were breaking up and making up and all that. Then I found out she was cheating on me. She had been cheating on me for over a year. I asked her about it and made her cry and all that- and she told me she had never ever cheated on me. We had lots and lots of sex for the next few days (you know the really really dirty/fun kind )- I figured I was fucking her like she did me, and it helped A LOT. Less than a week later it broke off with me in a cop station because she BIT ME because I was looking at guys phone numbers she had (she bit me so damn hard I had a bruise for almost a month- I pulled her by her teeth!) so I pushed her off of me- never hit her, just pushed her so she'd stop biting me. Well she's 5' and cute, and I'm 6' and a guy, soooo... I thought she was perfect, and was really heart-broken. I kept the engagement ring until just a few months ago (over 4 years). Anyway, I started dating another girl who was pretty hot within about a day or so of that just to get some lovin' and get my mind off things, 4 years later I'm married. You THINK someones the only one you'll ever love, but if both people can't be happy/satisfied its not right. It's almost like how a puppy will wine for attention as you try to leave it alone. It's hard, but you've got to move on sometimes. (sorry for the analogy, I have a puppy that's always wining!) Good luck guys, I hope it works out for the best. You can always find someone else.

^ Agreed. Either that or some BLs and a 3k or something. Could get a kicker 2500 for a good price too. BLs loaded are 375.
