  1. Single HDC4? Figured I would throw that out there. Haha
  2. If their is no reset button which their should be just disconnect the harness connected to the hu for a few seconds and that sould reset it, or disconnect your negative on the batt.... If no reset button Edit: no reset button? Weird... Well then yea just try what I said above. If resetting it doesnt fix the prob then let us know
  3. I'm mobile soo I cant get a close up of the deck but, can you remove the faceplate? If so do remove the faceplate and look and see if their is a little button, if their is then find something small to push it and hold it in for around 5 seconds
  4. They're usually behind the faceplate if the hu has a removeable faceplate. The reset button is just a tiny little button that the tip of an ink pen will barely fit in push it in and hold for a few seconds and it should "reset" the hu or restore all settings to factory. I've had a few hu's cut out the speakers running on it and the reset button made the fix, dont know why or how but it worked.
  5. Their should be a little reset button somewhere on the faceplate or maybe behing it if it comes off. I would be able to tell you where maybe if you post up the model number. Can you run out and get the model number?
  6. Try resetting the hu if you hav'nt already, I say it's worth a try.
  7. Call as soon as you get up. Dude, I hope you get it figured out, but now you know to get the money first.
  8. It's real http://www.audiocontrol.com/18452/products/2XS--2--way-Electronic-Crossover.html
  9. I'd go a single HDC3, if you plan on doing any upgrades. That way you could just get another HDC3 if you wanted more. I run HDC3's and love them, and I've heard many subs and aloooottt of sundownz, but I just like the way AQ's sound. And dont listen if someone tells you "they dont get low" haha that still makes me laugh. Good luck on decideing subs man hopefully you're happy in the end.
  10. Why not two sdc2.5's or a single hdc3?
  11. AQ SDC2.5..?? http://www.audioque.com/Street-Duty-SDC25-12-D4-Subwoofer_p_11.html

  13. A big advantage imo is no restricted air flow.
  14. Good score. I dont know what kind of boxes those DC's want my my 2 12"s are in a 4.9 cuft net box (can the box be a little bigger?) I'm ported to the side and subs back that seems to work the best me so far... I say try subs back port side..?? I say it's worth a try if you have the time/money to do it.
  15. Good choice, you wont be dissapointed. Oh yea welcome to the club
  16. ^^^^ this could'nt of said it better myself
  17. I like AQ so that's what I'd choose.... It's really just whatever brand you like better.... Go with whatever one you like..... All you're gonna get is everybody's opinion....
  18. Aluminum dissapates heat faster than copper I think... I'm curious myself
  19. I'd go for 2 sa 15"s more cone area.
  20. I went from 2 L7 15"s to 2 AQ 12"s and the AQ's made the L7's look like baby's. Oh and I was overpowering the L7's and I'm not giving the AQ's enough.haha I'm glad I made the change. But that is just my experience.
