You can always try the new P2's...here is a link http://cgi.ebay.com/2-ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-P2D2-12-12-1600W-Car-Subwoofers-/230602141646?pt=Car_Subwoofers_Enclosures&hash=item35b0f56fce

Sorry about all of the links, not used to posting pictures on here. I have far more but I am waiting to get some more progress on the build. Remember this is a test box which is why I did not wrap it yet. I made the mistake of finalizing my last build without testing and was miserable. I have learned to test before wasting time and money to complete the build

Unless the subs are free use others, also like said before 1 big amp is better than the 4 smaller.

need to be louder than my last setup
JustinWilson replied to curtdakota's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Probably true, just build a DP21 full size enclosure, you won't be disappointed. -
How long until we see some pics? I am excited to see how you build this one

whats the best way to draw and cut a hole without a router
JustinWilson replied to Craig28's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
How large of a hole? -
I have heard a lot of good about them, I may try and run 8 of their super tweeters, and 6 - 6" midbass drivers...

What tune should a 18 btl be @ doing spl?
JustinWilson replied to Dbass's topic in Fi Car Audio Subwoofers
Yeah I suggest extensive testing to find your car's info... -
Metered for the first time...
JustinWilson replied to Supercharged DCs's topic in SPL - SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL
Hey take your 8 and shove it up your ass. Op ima have to agree with the more port area. Also i mean whats your port look like? Were is it at? Where is the sub? Not to be mean but x2... I suggest a new enclosure then work with positioning and other details of your car. -
Want to build 1000w 2ohm front stage
JustinWilson replied to JustinWilson's topic in Mid's and highs
If I went this route I would run 4 tweeters per channel on the front channels and then 3 midbass per channel for the rear channels. Just unsure where I will put all the midbass lol. -

JustinWilson replied to curtdakota's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Why would a 21 have anything to do with lows? It is a stigma people have with bigger woofers, they assume the bigger the woofer, the louder lower notes get. While typically true it is for a completely different reason. Which is partially caused by mechanical advantage/disadvantage. Just enjoy bass! -

According to your max dimensions you have about 13^3ft of airspace not subtracting bracing, woofers, and porting. That is more than enough for 2 - Fi BL 18's which need between 5-10^3ft of airspace. I would say try and make it work. INSANE Cone area, or go with the DP 21 as I am a fan of them. -

Do a wall with 2 Fi BL 18's They will match closely to your amp and get way loud, if you have funds for more power I would suggest pretty much any good brand 18's, DC, DD, AA, Fi, and more! But then your looking at atleast 1 of your amps for each of those woofers. Keep us informed. P.S. Remember the enclosure matters far more than the woofer, I have seen the smallest woofer have tremendous output in the perfect enclosure. Design is key!
