I got a Ohio generator 270a hairpin alt to replace my stock one a few months ago and lately I see people talking about running power and GROUNDS from your HO alt. Mine has no ground studs... I don't know why. I caled ohio gen and they said there is no ground stud on them.??? Is this ok? seems strange from what I have been reading... Stock batt is is the trunk.

Yeah, maybe a hair dryer? not as hot. Just that im lucky if the temperature goes over low 50's here until mid may. I did notice that even if its 52 out when its sunny outside the car is alot hotter inside. That might be a good thing. If I put it on at room tmperature and the temperature outside goes way below freezing, will that hurt the deadner? It can get as low as -35 F here in mid winter :S Not this late in the year though. oh my poor car.

What about "Bondo kitty hair" ? I heard the word short strand filler whatever that means. im assming fibreglass reinforced?

I see alot of people using some sort of body filler to stregnthen their enclosures. Smoothing it out in the corners. Also for moulding in speaker pods and a pillars etc. What would be the most common kind that I would use in my box? Will it stick to fibreglass resin? example #1 example #2

Yeah lol. Well I called every scrap yard around and they gote none... imagine that.. GM wants 100$ EACH plus tax... I think ill just fix it up to the best of my ability and spray tint it.... may hide some cracks. Anyone know a good site that sells tail lights smoked?

yep but it was my fault it cracked.. I got mad a while back and threw a ratchet and it bounced and hit it ..

yeah mine dont have the reverse lights in the same housing though ... I wanted to tint them and thats when I seen the crack i forgot about.

Heres some i just took, kind of hard to se it. Theres no actuall chip missing its all smooth to the touch but its all cracked

I had something hit my tail light and now it has a small ding and spider crack about 1 - 1 1/2 inches across. Is there anything I can do to make it look better or repair it? I really dont feel like spending a fortune at GM for a new one. The car is a 2006 pontiac pursuit. Thanks

4 15's if i ordered the 15"s i was going order four anyway. Then why did you say 3? Either 4 15's or 4 12's if i was you. I personally wouldnt do 3 15's. if you don't have the room for 4 15's then i'd do 4 12's

Well how do you plan on wiring them up? I would think 4 12's would be easier to wire up. I dont know I just like even numbers. but with 3 15's you will have more cone area. Peronally I like 15's

Mids/highs Powered off the HU for now until i get some new gear. 2 btl 15s walled on 2 Crescendo 3500's. I just don't want to harm my woofers. are clipped highs as bad as clipped lows? just seems like almost every song in audacity has clipped highs except for a handful. Best stuff I used to get that stuff off was Zep "Big Orange" grease and tar remover. spray it let it sit for a min or two and then it come right off with a flat credit card and a rag. I tried goo gone and a bunch of other stuff and none worked :S but big orange finally did it

Ok here. i got a mixed album that alot of people play. In media player it only seems flat on the highs, and in audacity its the same way. It looks horendous but if I zoom in im not sure what to think. So here is zoomed in. If i put a low pass of 80 hz on it the red lines dissapear. Heres zoomed in What do you think? I noticed alot of my dubstep and rap songs are clipped to hell off the album but just the highs. The bass usually looks fine when zoomed in . I use the LPF to see just the bass easier. I'm lost on what songs to keep or trash... Also I will be striving to keep my equipment clip free so hopefully there will be no issues on that end. (DD-1) I mean whats the point of setting your gains properly if you can't have it maxed to where you set it clip free?
