  1. It would probably be alright, but to cut down on the chance of looking like I have crabs in public thanks to some itchy boxers I always wash them separately.
  2. I did, before I installed the remote wire, it was being used to turn on the amp, but it was ghetto-rigged and hooked up t the battery in the back instead of the HU. Before this instal the remote turned on the bazooka tube just fine.I'll get pics up later of me trying to diagnose the problem :/ Doesn't mean that sometime during the swap it didn't get broken in two, or come loose from somewhere. I seriously doubt the remote out on the HU just quit working. Well I've already tried with a separate wire that I know isn't broken and wired it from the remote to the amp and nothing there. Nothing from the red either... If you don't have power on the red (ACC) wire then your head unit isn't going to cut on.

  4. Have you checked for power at the back of the HU to make sure it's not just the remote wire broken somewhere in between?
  5. ^this. Cross directional loading was my first guess.
  6. I put on SPL comps in the FAR northeast GA (10 minutes from the NC line) area pretty often if you'd be interested in attending I can get you some info on the shows. I'm sure I'll see you at some of the NC shows as well.
  7. I can't remember right off, didn't catch many names we had so many people piling in and out of the truck. Lol story of my life with this truck, I started the build with plenty of time then ended up having to put it off, found out Tuesday that Mini Nats was Saturday. Subs were coming in Friday and all I had was the back and bottom of the wall done. It was pretty rough but gets loud. Metered it Saturday night basically untouched from Mini Nats (havent even charged the batteries) and pulled a 150.75 on music sealed up after demo'ing a few songs. Your truck looks awesome, I had seriously considered going hydros on mine but after talking to my buddy Kurt (with the single cab S10 that was 3 wheeling) with all the weight and how everything is bolted to the body and everything it would probably end up being a pain in the long run and my truck is built for sound first and foremost anyway. Going to do a 3/4 static (+ what the added weight has already dropped it) and be done with it. Can't wait to see your truck around at some shows, where in NC are you exactly?
  8. Possibly so, had a nice crowd gathered around when I was demo'ing. What was his name? My truck was looking pretty rough that day, literally finished the wall up and stuff the noodles around it to half ass seal it off at 2am Saturday morning, went to work at 8, then left straight from work to head up there.
  9. yea i was at mini nats no truck but i was hangin with my club AcrophobiA I showed up for a while Saturday. Made 1 full lap and about 1/3 of another one full tilt before they had to shut me down due haha. White walled off POS Ranger. I showed up pretty late for the show part, but will be there all weekend next year.
  10. Looks good so far! Definitely impressed with the work using that saw haha. By any chance were you at Mini Nats in Maggie Valley?
  11. Wipe it when it starts to run, let it dry, then sand it off.
  12. In case you didn't know, I'm 120% jealous of the panel saw. LOL I use the same corner clamps as well. Progress looks sweet, but you know you gotta put up more pics than that!
  13. I work about 20 minutes from the NC/TN line. Up that way semi often.
  14. I actually got a pretty nice one from the local Wal Mart believe it or not. Can't remember the brand right off though.
  15. I'm running 4 of the KMH 15's and they straight up get silly. Sound pretty sweet as well, I must say I'm impressed with the quality of the product. James stands behind them as well. I'm pleased.
  16. Good luck fitting 3 18's, from what I've seen on Mustang wall builds it's tight to do 2.
  17. Have you ever rebuilt a 4 stroke top end before? Are you having the head done elsewhere (if it needs valvetrain work)? It's relatively simple, but not something you really want to try if you have no experience. Try to find a buddy or someone to help out, it's a good bit to type a walk through of.
  18. Still not completely sealed off, still wired at 2 ohm and gain is SUPER conservative (Had some issues with 2 of the subs out of the box, nothing to do with enclosure/amp but had me bad nervous. Just trying to keep it playing till after mini nats haha). Hoping to finish sealing it up this week, wire down to .5, re-scope the amp, and make my trim panels/cover the box. Still pretty pleased with how it does right now. Song is a modified version of Cali Swag District- Teach Me How To Dougie... Main note is 41hz so flex isn't too crazy. Will post up some better videos next time someone comes by with a camera. Probably have some demo videos up from Mini Nats soon as well.
  19. Definitely an older Memphis ST series, 1000 or 1100 I believe.
  20. Nice to see some more Georgia people around here. Build looks good, PM me your facebook page if you'd like I can add you to the Georgia Car Audio page where you can keep track of shows/events/other misc BS. Love that S10, beautiful truck.
  21. Around here you can buy an E150/E250 for dirty cheap. If you're just using it for a race rig mileage isn't a major concern, those things run forever anyway.
  22. You don't have an M3 Mojo, you have the old 4 spoke basket style Mojo IIRC
