  1. if the window is that size then you want about an inch or so all around to attach it to the mdf
  2. http://www.estreetplastics.com/Clear_Acrylic_Plexiglass_Sheets_3_4_Thick_s/35.htm
  3. if you use 3/8 then it would probably be too thin with the btl pushing on it then it would flex and sound like poopy. 3/4" would be about right but it also depends on the size of the window
  4. im excited for this to come out so i can find someone who has one and have them set my gains!
  5. if a girl started beating my ass i would put her into submission. same thing i did last time my brother fought me.
  6. those would be awesome on a roof or doors since it says they protect from heat and vibration
  7. ive seen faceplates on ebay before so you could check there. and they probably have a wiring harness for the other headunit too
  8. why do they give you free samples at grocery stores? why do girls show you their boobs? why do you get to use the phones in the sprint store? ITS A TEASE!
  9. Should be a pretty sweet build. cant wait to see it!
  10. 4 12's would be between the cone area of 2 15's and 2 18's but closer to the 18's. so it should get pretty loud
  11. pretty sweet civic! is that just a stock ford taurus alternator in there or a H/O?
  12. maybe you thought you only unhooked the remote wire but you also unhooked the red switched power and soldered it into the remote
  13. Alright so i was working on designing a 4th order for 4 10's. i decided on 2.6 sealed and 5.2 ported tuned to 43-45. i plotted 4 DC level 3's and 4 T3 t.600's. Can someone tell me which of these would be more desirable for a daily driver? they both have almost the same bandwidth but the t3's have a peak at 45 Hz that goes up to 12Db The t3's are blue and the dc are green.
  14. damn you never see people that eager to tear open a cab to a brand new truck! you made the hole before you got the subs!
  15. No i emailed JD and he said he had 4 new from this years line that he could sell me for a good deal. Is next years line supposed to be better? also how much power do you think these could handle?
  16. wait its an astro van. wheres the wall?? haha nice upgrade though. probably sounds pretty nice
  17. how do you like these t600's? i was originally gonna get 4 DC level 3 10's but the t3's are cheaper and i could get them sooner
  18. it sounds like an unloading issue to me too. has this always done it or has it started recently?
  19. Just make one with a piece of wood and 2 bolts. check some build threads on here to see how other people have done it
  20. Ease of maintenance: euros are out Fuel economy: american cars are out I'd say maybe a honda crv possibly with a large wall of noise makers
  21. the equipment you showed in your second post would work together but you would be lacking in your highs. i would add a tweeter and try to find a three way crossover so you can run all three. another option which you said you werent sure about is going active and using a separate amp to power the midbass, midrange, and tweeters. You can do this with a 5 channel amp and an active crossover like the kx3. have 2 channels for left/right mids, 2 channels for left/right tweeters, and 1 channel for your seleniums
  22. you can check out dc audio depending on when you are planning on doing your system. theyre a good company but theres a huge wait for the subs right now. theres ascendant audio, digital designs, sundown, fi, RE. it all just depends on your budget and what you want out of your system
  23. is there a back order?? theres one or two people waiting in line for subs
