When you guys finish the olympics can you beat the shit out of the woofers and see how far over rms they will go built in an adequate enclosure. Yes you can the tweeters will be at 2 ohms (if they are 4 ohm tweets) and so will the 6.5's. the by 9's will be at 4 ohms and everything should be fine.

The problem with the world is your mind set Alan. All it takes is education to properly handle a firearm and respect it. Most of the accidental shootings that happen involving children are because they were playing with something they knew nothing about. If you teach them what can happen how to use it and when and where to do so there will be less accidents in the home. I have been around guns all my life and from a young age my father instilled in me not to ever F*** with a gun outside of self defense or at the range. Most adults need education as well because they believe you can just load it, point and shoot...a gun isnt a digital camera takes a little more to understand and not harm yourself. If you shoot yourself by mistake you seriously need to learn a lot more. With anything else people who don't understand will argue the cons of it. I think learning gun control and safety is just as important as teaching your kids about practicing abstinence or safe sex. I rather my child know better than learn the hard way.

Find out what size your stock alt is I am guessing its between 80 - 105 amps if so you should be fine on 800w thats not ridiculous draw. If you feel uneasy just get a nice size batt under the hood to be safe.

Honestly get the Skar and for the most part a cars stock electrical should ideally support 800w with no issues unless you have a bs whip? Just trying to keep the car is best shape as possible incase I sell it in the near future.. the car is only a 4 cylinder as well which is why I asked because the alternator is not many amps im assuming. What vehicle is this going in?

Huh? If you have 2 Dual 4's they do wire into 1 ohm so the Skar 800.1 would be what you're looking for.

May I ask why you added a crossover to the system? Isn't the 175.4 active capable so the addition of the crossover would do what for you? When I had my clarion crossover in my car I measured just to see by plugging the rca's into the DD1 from the crossover and at max volume I was undistorted because I had the same question as you with Meade's video.

I am surprised no one has asked this but with you having a family which company offers better benefits (i.e. Health Insurance, Dental Eye?) At the end of the day that is what adds up quickly. The only reason I am still with my company is because the perks and benefits out weigh what I make. I could've left long time ago to make double but would have to come out the ass for insurance, parking, commute, etc. just wasn't worth it for me. I probably should get my install done since I need it hooked up to clamp lol. I figure my results should be solid though my electrical in theory will be very solid for 2600w. I have been reading for quite a while on how to clamp as I hope to get a fluke clamp meter soon but on the list before that is a DD-1 and a Kinetik hc600 to run as my third batt. I got 2 autocraft wet cells up front with 1/0 big 3 and 2/0 running from 1st batt to my 2nd. Is a hc600 worth 55 dollars new? There is a shop in wilson that is selling for 79.99 and the owner gave me a 25 dollar off coupon for helping pass the work of the shop at a local show. Oh yea I'm gutting the 4gauge out soon. Ordering a new battery too. I have a little Kinetik HC600(stock batt also) that was perfect with the BRZ1200 but wont cut it once I go bigger. I will be getting a new batt under hood..and another batt in the back. Maybe a used XS from here or a Kinetik or new XS online. The bc2k does rated @ 13.8v where the rubicon's do rated @ 14.4v just something to point out. Also dont be to weary of a 2.5k as I am running mine with 2 Autocraft wetcells up front with the Stock 124a alt and big 3 and it is performing great @ 1ohm. I also dont have the gains cranked to the max either though cause I dont have a DD-1 and would really prefer not to clip the amp or subs haha. As long as the amp is efficient and doesnt have dirty power you should be ok with electrical especially with the right XS batts. I will be able to purchase a clamp meter in about 3 weeks and by that time I will have everything installed so I will begin doing the tests per the instructions I read on here.

Im guessing by your sig that you have some way to tell when it clips.DD-1 / Oscope. I read a whole writeup on clamping but I dont have a dd1 or Oscope. I am definitely ordering a DD-1 when I start buying equipment this time around. Yes sir DD-1 & CC-1.

I got the Rubicons Tarantulas and Stealths I am attempting to learn how to clamp. Once I do that I will begin post results of each of the amps I have.
