You say clicks and crackles...??? Try to be more accurate with what is going on Is it cranking over? Is it trying to? If not, either jump start it or put a charger on it.

Sounds like you smoked the LAN system. What works in the truck? When you turn the key to ign do lights on the dash come on? Does it crank over? Headlights work?
