  9. I wire brushed the threads on the bolts and used "carb & choke" cleaner to break down any oil or gunk that was on the inside of the hole then wiped it out with a shop towel and a screw driver. I hope it will all be good. Thanks for all the help y'all its really appreciated
  10. Check out these links. Hope they can help. Shuriken XS Power
  11. I tried to use some steel wool to take the paint off around the ground and after about 5 mins it just had a dull finish but no paint dust really
  12. Got everything cleaned up. I do have a question though. What would y'all suggest to remove such a small area of paint? Sand paper? And if so what grit do y'all think would be best? Also the black stuff in the bolt holes I'm pretty sure is the factory sound deadner. It feels rubbery almost like "peel & seal" roofing Just a quick pic:
  13. I used some "Carb & choke" cleaner to clean any oil off
  14. First thing in the mornin ill remove the rust off the bolt and washer: Then I will move on with some sanding blocks and sand paper and get that paint gone around where the bolt contacts it. Thanks for the help everyone its been helpful for sure
  15. Ok update on some pics. Just went out in the driveway and took the bolt out of the seats. Just after removal and before cleaning: After cleaning: Look through (flash light is underneath the truck): Over top view of everything:
  16. The bolt is going through the seat frame (painted metal maybe 1/8" thick) and the bolt is then threaded into metal that is 1/2" thick. I don't think its the frame but ill try and get some pics. Its 9pm here but if I can't grab some tonight ill get some in the mornin. Looks to be aluminum that its threaded into to but I am gonna have to sand it down tomorrow. Also the hole its threaded into is all the way through like I can see the ground
  17. Hey what's up y'all I got a question on if my ground is actually enough ground. Any ideas on improving it are welcome. Don't really want to have to drill through the floor to reach the frame but what are y'alls suggestions?
  18. It is kinda funny though right? I got 2 jobs and have a hard time even finding time to get audio in. Also I really appreciate you serving. Close friend of mine got back from his 2nd tour about 2 months ago. Some people judge without knowing
  19. Likin the style there Derrick. Atleast your being honest. Some people just live off drama and hatin I believe
  20. Exactly what I'm sayin bro. All of us audio people and bassheads get so much hate and abuse. All I can say I totally agree with KeepItLow91. I quoted his post below. Very well said
  21. ^^^ Comments like that are damn stupid. I can't even believe some of them. "People should have death penalties" And on page 3 by some guy named David F: "People that have stereo systems like this should be shot" Also no research was done at all when yahoo said a normal car stereo would stand 10k watts peak lol.
  22. Also isnt each SMD woofer numbered when its made? as each one is specially made by AA? Someone correct me if Im wrong. Not to mention the woofer costs a nice lil bit the amps and wiring and batteries need to push these massive subs are really expensive. Also got to have a big enough ride to fit them and their box haha. Arent they meant mainly for DB comps and just glass shattering bass?
