  1. A 120 can be done with my door speakers... *Edit- Not just mine, many door speakers. I wasn't trying to sound arrogant, just stating that 120 is not a problem. I'd say a GREAT score for your car would be anything above 140. That's where I would realistically shoot for.
  2. The RE box calculator isn't quite correct. I'd go with a bigger port than 1.5 inches. When I get home, I'll check your box specs into a different program. Someone may give you advice before I get home, but I'll do it as well. RE doesn't include displacement of your drivers and the tuning is higher than what they say.
  3. That amp is plenty powerful at 1 ohm, you shouldn't ever go to under 1 ohm on a Fosgate amp. If you need more that 2400 watts(which I'm sure it birthed out at) get a different amp.
  4. Thanks I just wanted some trusted eyes on it, not that I wasn't convinced by the other guys. I appreciate all your guys input for sure, thanks. Now I get to do my second favorite thing in the world, get MDF and go apeshit with a router and circular saw.
  5. How does voltage look while you're getting these things warm? They should be able to take much more power(clean power) than you're giving them. How are you grounds as well? Is the amp getting hot also? What about the wire(power and ground) going into the amp, is it hot as well?
  6. Thread jack^^Kranny go click my aero port thread and respond. Thank you. Thread jack=over
  7. I'll take pics. The only reason for making the box with aeros, is because I've got a couple 10s I wanna do a push/pull isobaric setup in. I'll invert the one sub to fit ass out between my bucket seats in my truck. I know output won't be crazy, but frequency response and FLAT response should be nice.
  8. Obviously the tuning has to be adjusted when using 1 vs 2. The port area per foot is achievable in the current box I want to build with 2 aeros. I will just take this information that I have 2 ports, the length that the calculator says. For example Port #: 2 Port Length: 18 This means I will make two ports 2"X18". Also, I'm not using precision aeros, I know they have a length of 17 inches. I'm planning to do 2 3" PVC with routered port entrance.
  9. Here is one of the dumbest question I'll ever ask, and I'm pretty sure I already know the answer. Anyway, I don't mess around with aero ports ever, and was curious when entering the port dimensions into Torres, when I enter let's say, 16 inches. If I have 2 entered into the number of ports field, does that mean I only need 16 inches TOTAL length, or 16 each? Sorry for a dumb question, but I'm assuming it's total length so when I use 2 ports, the length is cut in half.
  10. It's mikey bates, he's gonna ask these sorts of questions ad nauseum. X2
  11. Why wouldn't you just go 2 SA10s and call it a day. That would cover your 600 per driver, which ironically, is what they are rated at.
  12. I CAN'T believe those are useable dimensions. You need to take into consideration weird humps and sides obstacles to go around. Then you run into the issue of getting the box IN there. You'd have to build the box INNNN the trunk. I think you should stick to 2 12s and be done with it. More cone area+double the motor force=more logical setup.
  13. I wasn't looking into the future, but obviously that makes sense. It can still perform just fine without that option in sealed I imagine
  14. They have the high QTS option when building them, I'd order it like that.
  15. My girlie has an 08 Scion which I'm scheming on throwing a box into also. There's plenty of space back there for a good sized box. I was gonna go with 4 Sundown SA8 v2s, that way I could still keep some cargo area behind the box.
  16. The specs on the Kenwoods are actually not terrible. In the right box they could sound great, should even get the lows pretty decent.
  17. DudeWith4X4(a member on this site) had/has a D4 and a D2 cone option for the SoloX 18. I'm not sure if he ever sold it, but he was looking to sell it.
  18. Yes, there's a problem. You agreed to some rules to join the forum. One of those rules was No Vs threads. This has the ability to turn into one, since you mentioned 3 amps to compare....
  19. You still haven't given us any real info to be able to help you. Are you running these subs all in the same box? What coil configuration are the subs? Single 4 ohms, dual 4 ohms, or dual 2 ohms, or mismatched. If they are sharing the same airspace, THAT'S a no-no. They are most CERTAINLY different impedance(resistance in ohms) from each other(the different brands). Address these questions, THEN we can discuss why your amp doesn't like what you're asking it to do.
  20. I wasn't a dick, you are here for a reason. It's not about how big or badass a system you have, no one cares. You're here to learn, so take some advice and learn. Simple as that dude, you've already lost of some of the guys here.
  21. The first post for him, I was trying to be gentle. Besides the grammatical errors and the complete lack of using proper punctuation, I wasn't gonna dig too hard into his issues until he wants to provide more infomation. *Edit- I spelled grammatical wrong haha.
  22. The concerning part to me about your post is that you are running mismatched subs on the SAME amp. Also, what makes you think you are running at 2 ohms? What are the voice coil configurations of the subs in question?
