A slot port is fine, completely fine. Preference for me would be aeros. For the slot port up, along the rear glass, don't fire it back toward the hatch otherwise you'll choke it.

I'd do aero ports if it were me, firing up on the same surface as the subs.

Hey guys, sorry if there is a recent topic on this that I didn't see, but is anyone else getting a lag or excessive gateway errors? Nearly every time I'm on lately, I am getting gateway 504 errors. This is from my mobile device and I've got a Note3 on the T-Mobile network. I've tried accessing from multiple different browsers, as well clearing cache and cookies. The same result occurs with several timeouts and I have to continuously try to log in or post a response. I'm not sure if there is a known problem or if it's isolated with something on my end. Judging subwoofer by movement(what you can see with your eyes)= fail. Last I checked, your ears don't have eyes. Put the sub in a correct box on RATED power, and it will sound just fine. It has a rating for a reason.

Your sub is vibrating itself on the mounting screws because you don't have it screwed down all the way. The only way to fix this problem is to get that sub down tight. Putting on big boy pants, in a nutshell.

Audiofanaticz wasn't suggesting that it was port noise. He was saying what you're LIKELY hearing is the vent on the back side of the motor(basically the sub's asshole). He is suggesting that since the cone is paper, sound can get through it(turns out paper isn't an insulator). Have you checked for leaks in box?

The Stinger will fail, likely. I've seen many many, many failed Stinger volt meters. The whole purpose of this thread is to start shit and you know it. So I'll tune in to watch with popcorn.
