X2 on the components. A different option that I have used is the Polk db521, there cheap on ebay. The tweets aren't harsh like on most cheap coax.

Got AMG in front. The AGM up front is a good start. My system had two AGMs one upfront and one in back. Big 3 and 0/1 all around. 80a amp alt and I had voltage drop on a Rockfordt1500bd and a 4channel amp. I believe with 170a alt and batt in back you'd be fine.

I have run similar systems with 80a alt, and had bad voltage drop into the 11s.. Nothing shut down or anything, but I needed a output alt for sure. Plus I'd use an extra batt in back, and if you got the money I'd go AGM front and back.

I would have to get a more expensive amp and do all sorts of electrical upgrades. you wouldn't have to get a more expensive amp and electrical upgrades, etc. i think what he's trying to say is if you go with the Bl's you've got room to upgrade in the future if you decide to. i think you can't go wrong either way. but as a broke college kid, if it were my money, i'd go with the SSD's for the interest of saving money and worry about upgrades later. like adding more subs if you had the room. True, but from past exp I can til you that once the bug bites you you'll be upgrading everything. Nothing wrong with any of your subs you picked. You can't lose either way.

I'd go with the BLs cause I always want it louder. Bls more room for power upgrades. IMHO

Hell ya the 4incher are still accutate. And Ive carred Glocks 23,36,30. I don't have em any more I know I'm an idoit sometimes.. The whole lock thing on that forum kept weighing on me til I finally got rid of the lock.. The more I'd hear about it the more paranoid I'd get.

Oh shit and Kramer Holsters are super nice. I forgot I had one custom made, it took forever to get. It was during the Obama scare. Little Bear holsters are nice to depending how much you want to spend. Not sure if he still makes em last got one around 08, but worth checking out. unfortunatly its got the lock. its a 686-6. and its the 6 shot. i didnt know that crossbreeds came in OWB holsters till i just looked up their website ive only heard good things about the IWB holsters so ill look into them ive carried it IWB in the back and you cant tell except that it looks like i shit my pants at the tip of the barrell. thats the only draw back to the 6". i really want a 4" Wow thats a hugh carry gun 6inch barrell. I just dumped my 2 686s both prelock one was 4in. Nightstand gun 125gr loaded Gold Dots. The other was a stubby I was gonna carry the stubby 686 but it was to0 heavy, so I went with a stubby 19. Anyways I pulled the lock for my other Smith, that had the lock. Someone on the SW site sells a plug to cover the hole, if your bothered by the lock.

160a stock alt option from Jeep awesome. My frontier sucks 80a factory, I wish I could have gone 160 factory. Mechman what alt do you believe is needed to run 3k? I'd say your word is the word.

A few seem to have gotten good result without an alt. For the sake of your question, get an alt and have no worries about your system.

I'd say you need a high output alt. And aleast one extra battery. Plus drop the SLA battery and go AGM on both.
