look up the hifonics brutus line the are cea2006 compliant and do rated power at 1ohm all day i know 3 people that are running them at 1ohm daily with no issues and i just purchaced my brz1700.1d for 199.95 shipped off ebay it should be here by wednesday.i had the hifonics hfi1000.1d for 5 months and playes the crap out of it with no issues and a buddy of mine has the hfi1500.1d in his truck at 1ohm for 6 months and he bangs the crap out of it all day long and it doesnt even get hot just another budget idea ,you can get the hfi3000.1d for 250.00 on ebay too just some ideas dont bash me guys for the hfi but i have had good luck with them lol

soundstream has always been good amps since the early 90s but i heard that poweracoustik owns them now but that doesnt mean they are bad i have not heard any bad stuff just good ,so sounds like a good choice and it should be alot nicer than the jbl amp anyways so dont worry about it just hook it up and bang out bro lol

please people i need some help with this amp if anyone knows how to repair amps what ohm value should i see on the power side and output side on the mosfets any help will be great i just want to know so i dont replace the 47uf 50v bp cap that is bad and not know what to do if the amp doesnt work .it does power up and does not go into protect but has no sound . thanks for any help lazie420

i am not the only one but the us amps vlx400 or the ppi a1200 art series -
the 801s is a good amp and has power but they put out between 800-1000w rms .i put together a system of a friend in 05 with 3 p2 10s in a sebring and it sounded sick but the mb quart does have a warrenty and is new the used one yoy dont know if has been overheated or gone into protect a bunch of times and it might work now but in a couple of months you never know.

how much do you have to spend on an amp, figure that out. you know what you dont want thats a good start, and what do you have for an alt and wiring and are you willing to change these things if you have to .

i have a mmats d200hc amp that i have had since 97 and it blew a 47uf 50v bipolar cap and the board looks good nothing looks burnt if anyone can tell me who can repair it and not charge me out the ass that would be great i dont realt want to send it to mmats they want 125 just to look at it than what ever it takes to repair it and i know they will rape me on it lol thanx
