  4. anyhow, im sure ill enjoy my new amp...going from approx.. 800 rms substage to a comfortable 2200 rms ill throw out there. on good electrical...only clamping will tell!
  5. hey man...im just a dreamer! dreamers can dream, right! lol I pretty much knew the answer as I began typing, but then I was like ...what the hell!
  6. so, not to sway the thread, but, I bought a refurbished SAZ2500V2 on Black Friday. It was shipped from somewhere (I don't remember) to Waco, TX to get refurbished and sent to me. My question is, Will they rebuild it back to the original SAZ specs, or use the more recent SCV (controlled voltage) technology? I'd prefer the SCV, as I wont try to give the amp more than 15 volts at any given time, buyt im fine with the SAZ, hell that's the amp I wanted to buy anyway! for the price with a one year warranty, it was to hard to pass up!
  7. in for the butt hurt. pretty sure this thread question was already answered!
  8. i drive a 5 speed, so kick panels are kinda out the window. but i really want solid warm front stage.....
  9. ^^this. 2 12'' z's, hoa and a 3100 or 3400 under the hood (the biggest that will fit), and one 3100 as bank (or two to be upper safe).
  10. im sure its just the camera, but it sure seems bright...almost distracting while driving. looks good though
  11. has anyone tried the X6.5 in a sealed enclosure. im sure the output is better in a ported environment, im just curious because im contemplating putting one in each front door, and am concerned on space. and sound, obviously.
  12. ^^ I know someone has an in-car setup with one or more of these! im really interested in having one in each front door...but the mounting depth kinda scares me! But overall, these look like they perform amazing! does anyone know if they are designed for ported environment only, or could a small sealed box be a possibility?
  13. only a true bass head can take a peak under this hood and instantly get wood from all of that sexy 1/0 wire just flowing like a tranquil stream! so much love
  14. goodvibez...your work is the best work I just about have ever seen! I love the idea of the triple shot meters on the amp itself. i am thinking something different for my ride too! sshhh.
  15. ive been saving up for a saz3500dV2.......might just have to transition to the scv4000 !!! the 4000 is more affordable, and puts out crazy numbers! I see adding batts to the bank in the near future! way to go Sundown! you get my vote!
  16. mid bass is def what I meant! was looking in to a pair of these along side my 6.5 components in the doors to really complete the front stage with depth and warmth! I was thinking like crossed over somewhere between 55-300HZ
  17. is anyone running these? i'd like to put one in each door, if I can do the required air space..just curious on some pics if anyone is doing this...they look sick as f*ck!
  18. Ive talked to a few people at XS Power, and they all tell me to go with the XS Power Intellicharger (costs about 200 bucks). ^^ but this one here looks pretty good too!
  19. X 12s need WAY more power than that Hifonics is gonna give you...and ya gotta get an alternator dude... as far as the budget goes...i'm in the same boat...keep savin!
  20. ill do that Snow as soon as I get home...maybe a big learning lesson here by not paying close enough attention. like I said...its only one battery. if it is toast, maybe i'll just one up to a D3100. if/when it dips to 10.5v...what do I do? start it back up and "hope" it comes back to life? im sending the charger back to get it exchanged for a 12 volt charger. but till then?
  21. testing at 13.3 My wife bought it for me...should've double checked...the confusion came from 12 volt vs. 14 volt running...time will tell...3400 is NOT swollen...in the very worst scenario...its just one battery...
  22. Well shit. ..I accidentally ordered the wrong one. I put my brand new D3400 on it for about 3 to 4 hours. .. Before realizing it was most likely the wrong one. Please don't tell me my batt is garbage now. Packing charger up to send back today. And I'm gonna test the D3400. .. wish me luck.
