  1. Ok here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35 Hz Vb = 2.25 ft^3 External Height = 15 in External Width = 25.75 in External Depth = 17 in Port Width = 2 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front = 22 3/4 x 13 1/2 Back = 25 3/4 x 13 1/2 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 15 1/2 x 13 1/2 Side 2 = 16 1/4 x 13 1/2 Top & Bottom = 25 3/4 x 17 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 13 1/4 x 13 1/2 Extension = 6 1/2 x 13 1/2 Any changes, comments or questions let me know.
  2. Ported without a doubt, post some max dims for a box and I will issue some build plans for you.
  3. Yes the size of the box biggest you can fit for a sub inside your trunk: height, width, depth so that I can post some plans for you.
  4. Here are the manufacturer specs: http://www.ground-zero-audio.com/en/products/subwooferchassis/gzhw-38x.html They recommend 80 liters net on 1K.
  5. Here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 32 Hz Vb = 3.38 ft^3 External Height = 13 in External Width = 44 in External Depth = 19.75 in Port Width = 5 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 44 x 19 3/4 Left & Right Sides = Side 1 = 18 1/4 x 10 3/4 Side 2 = 19 x 10 3/4 Front = 38 x 10 3/4 Back = 44 x 10 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 13 x 10 3/4 Extension = 15 1/4 x 10 3/4 Assembly guide:
  6. Here is another suggestion on given dims: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35 Hz Vb = 6.7 ft^3 External Height = 20 in External Width = 37 in External Depth = 24 in Port Width = 23 in Port Height = 3 3/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 37 x 24 Left & Right Sides = 22 1/2 x 17 3/4 Front & Back = 37 x 17 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 18 x 24 1/2 Port Left Side Assembly: 18 x 3 3/4 Port Right Side Assembly: 18 x 3 3/4 Assembly guide (generic dimensions):
  7. Yeah you can put them in 5 cubes net is just that I just went over your 34x16x20 if you have more tell me so and I will make it bigger no problem.
  8. With 49.5W and the slightly narrower port you get back your original net volume of 4 cubes per sub and about 35Hz tuning.
  9. Yes everything would change slightly, to preserve 35Hz the port would need to turn a bit sideways and a bit thinner, you would loose 0.3 cubic feet: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 34.75 Hz Vb = 8 ft^3 External Height = 20 in External Width = 49.5 in External Depth = 22.625 in Port Width = 7 3/8 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 49 1/2 x 20 Left & Right Sides = 20 3/8 x 18 1/2 Top & Bottom = 49 1/2 x 20 3/8 Shared Port Internal Assembly Parts: 2 x Front to Back = 16 11/16 x 18 1/2
  10. Here is a suggestion: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 33 Hz Vb = 6.7 ft^3 External Height = 14.5 in External Width = 37 in External Depth = 36 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 37 x 36 Left & Right Sides = 34 1/2 x 12 1/4 Front & Back = 37 x 12 1/4 Port Quantity and Dimensions: Number of Ports = 3 Pipe Port Diameter = 6 Pipe Port Length = 27 Port area per cube is 12.6. Xmax is apparently high with these subs. Let me know any questions.
  11. Well aeros on the side maybe, this can be done going a bit over your max dims: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 30 Hz Vb = 4 ft^3 External Height = 16 in External Width = 34 in External Depth = 23.5 in Port Width = 4 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Front & Back (3 parts) = 34 x 16 Left & Right Sides = 21 1/4 x 14 1/2 Top & Bottom = 34 x 21 1/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 17 x 14 1/2 Extension = 14 x 14 1/2
  12. Not saying a SA-10, just a 10", how about a SSD 10", that would still be cheaper than 2 SA-8s and can handle 1K no sweat.
  13. If your port length is 14 then don't use 12.5", the external part of the port is just subtracted from displacement. BTW it seems nice at 12.5, just build accordingly.
  14. Changed the above for a box for a single SA-8 let me know any questions. EDIT: Maybe you should consider a 10". You have the space.
  15. So here is a suggestion Subs up/port back: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 34 Hz Vb = 5 ft^3 External Height = 18 in External Width = 38 in External Depth = 20 in Port Width = 4 1/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 38 x 20 Left & Right Sides = Side 1 = 18 1/2 x 15 3/4 Side 2 = 19 1/4 x 15 3/4 Front = 33 x 15 3/4 Back = 38 x 15 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 14 1/4 x 15 3/4 Extension = 2 x 15 3/4 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Double baffle is recommended but not strictly necessary. Let me know any changes, comments or questions.
  16. What I mean to say is to keep your expectations low, if you want some crazy flex you need mighty power and subs to match that master the low end like the RE XXX or the SSA XCON to name a couple. Your sub may be considered daily use sub, will get you a good thump and some flex but that's about it.
  17. Ok so your sub is 600W RMS, so bear that in mind, here is a enclosure suggestion for it: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 34 Hz Vb = 1.75 ft^3 External Height = 15 in External Width = 27 in External Depth = 14 in Port Width = 2 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front = 24 1/4 x 13 1/2 Back = 27 x 13 1/2 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 12 1/2 x 13 1/2 Side 2 = 13 1/4 x 13 1/2 Top & Bottom = 27 x 14 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 Extension = 16 3/4 x 13 1/2 Is not really a ground pounder sub either so expect some nice bottom end but not a lot of flex.
  18. What would be the size of that sub, better the exact model of the amp and the sub if possible.
  19. Well here is a suggestion but I had to change a bit your dims: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35.4 Hz Vb = 11.85 ft^3 External Height = 25 in External Width = 44 in External Depth = 29 in Port Height = 4 3/4 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 44 x 29 Left & Right Sides = 27 1/2 x 22 3/4 Front & Back = 44 x 22 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 21 3/4 x 42 1/2 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): Don't do the flush mount shown. Any changes comments or questions, let me know.
  20. Added a pic from another angle to see if that helps.
  21. Here is a suggestion on your dims: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 34 Hz Vb = 0.66 ft^3 External Height = 9.5 in External Width = 26.75 in External Depth = 11 in Port Width = 1 1/2 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front & Back = 26 3/4 x 9 1/2 Left & Right Sides = 9 1/2 x 8 Top & Bottom = 26 3/4 x 9 1/2 Slot Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 8 x 8 Extension 1 = 21 1/2 x 8 Extension 2 = 4 x 8 Assembly guide: Engage the subsonic filter of the amp to 28Hz to avoid damage to the subs related to overdriving, let me know any questions.
