What if one of my systems is a ground pounder but the other is sq?

Got the sub installed yesterday and I'm happy with it so far. From what I can't tell the ampere 8" that was in it before can handle more power thermally but the sa can handle more mechanically. Basing this off the fact that I couldn't get the ampere smelly no matter what but I can get the sa smelly off the same power the ampere's coil could take just fine. But once ivput the power to the ampere the triple joint broke but the sa it going strong

Just ordered a d2 sub, I'm gonna take out the ph4000md and throw in the vfl100.1 at 1 ohm and see how the sub likes it

No v2 motor, I do have 3 sa motors but they are getting 15" recones and gonna be in a 4th order blow through, the sa8 is just a temp set up. I'm guessing the vfl is around 750-800 at 2ohm so it should be a perfect match but I want to push the sub as far as I can without it popping

I'm looking at replacing the 8 my gmc with a sa8 v2, box is a dcarcustoms box .6 cubes at 33hz. I know what the sub is rated at but how much power have people been throwing at them? Amp options are a ab vfl100.1 or a ab ph4000md, I have a ct sounds 500.1 too but would rather not use it. I'm thinking of getting a d2 and throwing the 100.1 at it and see how it likes it, vfl is 1500@1 and the 4000md is 2k@1

The thing about business that businesses sometimes fail to realize is that if you have good customer service and a product that people want, they'll come to you. I know people that drove to Atlanta from Nashville (200+ miles) just to go to IKEA.I haven't even started to put the sound deadener (Second Skin) in my car so I'm far from ready for the subs but I figured I'd go ahead and get them . But if all else fails, I'll get the B-Stock subs or wait for Black Friday sales. You can get a blown sa12 from sundown right now for $65 shipped and recones are $40 so you basically have a brand new sub for $105

Doesn't that sub have a stupid tight gas as it is?
