there are a lot of things associated with cost. One of them being support. You can get a lot of things cheaper but support means a lot to me and singer is one that supports this industry. If you have ever been to a show you would have seen this in person which is why people dont mind paying extra for an alt from him. Imagine you having an issue with an alt or somethign electrical or even your install and he is there in your car working to get the issue straight. thats teh type of support...

and i guess all the subwoofers with the ti baskets are being machines here in the us as well. I dont see many people from mechman in the lanes helping and there supporthing them when they are competing.. just saying based off of cases. I can assure you that mechman is not making all of their cases in house either.
