just trying diffent things and seeing what sounds good. The first box put up pretty descent numbers plus sounded great. If the new setup don't work for me I'm walling it off. No offence taken just trying different things to see what sounds best in my car.

New box design.. Subs up and port to the rear. I'm gonna use more bracing and glass the inside this time around. Anyone have any luck re-using wood from a previous box? Or is the wood glue going to pretty much make it not worth the hassle? (Elmer's)

I ran a d2 VVX 15 on a Sundown 1.2k at 1ohm and it sounded great. My buddy Jview has it in his car now and likes it alot. You looked around the Skar section for info at all? I'm sure the Sundown subs are good also or Obsidian for that matter if they ever have some available.

The shop has anything you could ever need to build a box minus screws and glue and such..Gotta goto the"monkey store" for that ish. I'm pretty stuck on birch but they have like 6 different kinds of plywood I believe. Buss bars prob not and aero's id just order online if it were me. I'm kinda torn on the 18's though as much as I want like 4 12's.. The XL's are sounding f n amazing with the comps on the 100.4 to complement. I'm not really about the competition aspect at this point, I just love music and enjoy tinkering.. So it's whatever.. Got a shop pack of Damplifier Pro.. so I'll be busy for sure soon.

Subs up port back was the original plan but I like to look at my XL's..lol Anyhow, probably going to wall it off and add some mids. Shipping to over here really isn't that bad as long as you have them ship priority.. parcel can take months. Also would really like to go all Skar Audio with my build but wasn't having any luck getting rid of the XL's.. If I find a buyer I'll most likely go with 4 12's or 15's. I love building boxes so who knows and the woodshop on Kadena is really nice. 1.50 an hour and everything you need is right there.

Alternator on order through Mike at Singer.. 180a on the way soon. Also got the 100.4 hooked up and everything sounds so much better now.. Thinking on adding in a couple Neo 8's for mo better mid... Not sure yet though *not worried about how it looks till I get all the pieces in place.. all go at this point
