You are asking an impossible question. Every alignment has its pros and cons but without knowing the speaker, space, power, vehicle , and listening goals no one can even begin to answer you. -

Check fault line, their kit is an "upgrade". -

I don't think PSI has type r recones. Springfield speaker and fault line customs has kits. -
Egg shape? That's what I get for skipping some of the middle posts haha... But if there is no curved surface it would still be practical.

its actually pretty easy, if you make 1 side in sketch up, then click it, entity info, it will give you the EXACT sq in of the piece, then multiply the side by the width and divide by 1728 and you're done. either that or some 8th grade geometry.

If you could look at your impedance profile it might answer this question.(maybe less box rise/more power)

Clipping is something that happens to the signal. Distortion is what you can hear, which can be caused by clipping.

It was actually a legitimate question. Don't have any pic, but my buddy has a 15" in a PWK designed 4th order...I was very surprised he did not get a 6th, but it works well.

the hdc sub simply performs better when its not sealed. both its t/s parameters and first hand experience point that out. Wasn't calling BS or anything , just wanted to hear if anyone has had success running one 4th order.
-
To the people saying 6th is what that subs needs...are you purely basing this on the subs EBP, or from experience? I have seen some HDCs work well in 4th.

Resistor to change the ohm load?
87regal replied to IKnowImLost224's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
A resistor(resistance) is for DC , a voice coil gets AC so it is an inductor(inductance).
