Car off, according to D'Amore. What he said. I have seen the forum multiple times and I'm sure a quick search would reveal it but tony did say so himself to set the gains with the car off. I think it is so you don't clip with voltage drop but I'm no expert.

I am planning on running a Skar 1500 at 1 ohm with all 0 gauge wire including the big 3. I have my stock alt and i don't know how many amps it puts out. It's going in an 03 ford Taurus. I would like to just run the one battery under the hood and I'm wondering what battery could handle all that. Thank you.

I have an 03 ford Taurus with a Mach audio upgrade. My question is does anyone know if there are any factory amps? And when I replace my HU will I have any problems?
