So the slight angle wont affect port area? I figured that would be a major area i have to factor in.

The angle will not effect the port area, your port will still be whatever height and width regardless of the angle.

The only thing the angle will effect is the port length for tuning. The inside port wall will remain vertical just like any other box, and you measure port length from the middle of the height of the port. where the port is shorter on top will be cancelled out buy what is longer on the bottom. This is why you measure in the middle of the port.
