  2. Sorry for your loss. October 2nd my dad was in a motorcyle accident. Its really hard bro, but I know what your going through, give me a pm i'll give you my number if you need to talk or something. This is by far the hardest thing i've ever been through in my life, but know this, if you can make it through this you can make it through anything man. Don't take anything for granted, life can change in he blink of an eye.
  3. I have juicy j bacon flavored papers
  4. 2 extra batts in the back and the big 3 will make me ok for 2-3k watts? I don't expect it not to have voltage fluxuation. I should be able to get an alt within a month or two.
  5. Badass! When there's a will, there's a way.
  6. Well I'm going to keep on the lookout in the for sale section, competitions don't start up until this spring so Im not in a BIG hurry, but I'm in desperate need of some bumpage, I'm sure everyone here knows where I'm coming from when I say that. Im wanting to take my time with this build and do it right, but I want to start asap I need to get busy on something to get my head cleared. chode- thanks bro 99boney thanks for the suggestion, made my day, I'll probably order audioque if I can't find in the for sale section within a week or two. edit: just1moreamp you posted before I finished up my reply, means alot coming from someone I don't know, you have no idea. I now appreciate everyone and everything alot more after this whole ordeal.
  7. Well, I only got 800 for my bike today. But I'm not discouraged.
  8. Wow thats horrible, sorry to hear about your pup bro.
  9. My brother possibly has 2 newer batteries for me, atleast one for sure, with the big 3 you think that would be ok for a few months? EDIT: Forgot to mention, I haven't been to sleep yet, so at around 5 am I posted my bike online, and at 8 I had a call from a guy and he's coming to look at it later this afternoon.
  10. Well after my dad's motorcycle accident last week I'm in desperate need of a hobby, I need something to vent my frustrations into, something to get my mind off of things. My 8 year old amp produced its last bass note two days ago, so now I'm just craving bass, never quite realized how relaxing it was until now. I've decided to sell my dirt bike because I have no desire to ever be on two wheels again. My mom and brother told me to spend what I get out of it on something that makes me truly happy, and car audio does just that. A week before his passing I was in the works of trading my ps3 and all its games for three 15's, that fell through and now I'm on a mission. I'm going to build something, something he would be proud of, and I'm going to build it loud. I'm aiming to build a wall, not sure of anything at the moment but that's my goal. But basically I have a few questions. Could my sunfire handle the weight of a wall? My brother has heavier duty struts that I can have for the rear, but what about the motor? But at the same time, with a wall I won't have to worry about more than one other passenger being in the car so It won't be weighed down anymore than having my backseat filled up with passengers which has never been out of the ordinary. My budget all depends on how much my dirt bike goes for, so I'm going to say I have around 1000$. I really want to do 18's, probably used, whatever I can get my hands on. Is it possible to get 18's and an amp used for around that much? Not worried about construction of it, cost of wood and such, my uncle has every wood tool known to man, and can help me build anything along with my brother. Is peel and seal legal for competitions? Dynamat is too expensive for my current budget. How many batteries could I safely charge on my 105 amp alt? Am I at least heading in the right direction? Or am I out of my league?
  11. Thanks everyone. Services were last night, and after the services instead of a dinner we came home and drank beer around the fire which is what he wanted, poured a few in for him. This spring we are doing what he asked for, and spreading his ashes off his boat into his 'honey holes' where we caught alot of fish. Over 600 people showed up yesterday, my dad was a hell of a man and touched more lives than I had ever given him credit for, he was truly a local celebrity. Hugged more people that I have never met yesterday than I ever have in my entire life. The way this community has come together for my family is amazing. Im gonna keep my head up high, my family's been in a rut for some time now, and after all this I know something good has to happen. I already see that my family is 200 times closer than before, and I know my dad is looking down smiling at all the things we've accomplished so far. And I know he's proud of me because I know what I have to do now, and thats take care of my mom. I went to an interview monday for a computer tech position at staples, was 10 minutes late, explained my circumstances and they're supposed to call me within a week or two for a second interview. He was definitely with me for the interview because I barely remember it, I just remember her asking me one question and that is "why do I want to work there?" and I just let her have it, said so much about why I want and need that job that she had no other questions.
  12. Thank you everyone. I'm being as strong as I can for my mom, my mom says I'm being too strong and need to show more emotion. I probably need to but I promised my dad that I would take care of my mom, and I only seen him cry once in the 19 years I have been living and that was last year at his own fathers funeral. Going to try to sleep now after getting all this off my chest, services are tomorrow. But really, everyone just needs to let your family know how much they mean to you, this whole experience has made me realize alot.
  13. Saturday my mom got a call that my dad was in an accident and she was staying because of my sister and her kids, I left immediately and drove as fast as I could to the scene. I threw my car in park before I even stopped and ran, fireman yelling at me I shouldn't go over. I seen a harley laying there and blankets, I knew it wasn't good. He was dead. That is the absolute worst thing I have ever had to see. I lost my mentor, my best friend, my father. The man who built me, the man who made me everything I am today, gone in an instant. I don't understand it though. I've gone to the scene atleast 20 times, it was at the end of a gentle turn, there's no skid marks, no NOTHING, and they said his leg was still on the bike when he was found. My dad's rode bikes all of his life, he knows when your in trouble to get away from them. He's been on disability for the past few years dew to his heart, and I think something happened while he was riding. To make things worse we were already financially in trouble, so much that my parents couldn't afford his life insurance policy among alot of other things we had to get rid of, I have no idea what me and my mom are going to do. It wasn't even his bike he was on, someone let him take it for a ride. But after all of this I think no matter what he was going to die that day, and I'm thankful its doing something he always wanted to do, and thats ride a harley. The reason I'm putting this up on here is just to say don't take anything or anyone for granted. Take a moment out of your day, call your mom and dad, tell them how much you love them because you never know when you'll never see them again.
  14. Skittles, I think this is your dogs way of showing its dominance lol.
  15. My jack russel does the same thing with ice cubes.
  16. I use notebook hardware control, or speed fan to keep an eye on my cpu and hd temps. Notebook hardware control is neat in the sense it goes to your task bar and all you have to do is hover over it for a reading to pop up
  17. Nice! More pics of car. Looks awesome, didn't think it was an accord at first.
  18. Anyone else grab this album? I think its awesome, but I am a big Jay-z fan. Heres a few songs I liked off the album. Empire State of Mind Run This Town So Ambitious D.O.A
  19. Tinted Lower springs on order.
  20. thats nasty, steve would like this if he hasn't seen it already
  21. Your right its not in my name, I never thought to do it since I didn't get any papers. Didn't see it as a needed thing until now, fuck me.
  22. Thats the thing, I feel like a fucking fool now! I traded this a year ago for a car I had, and I never got a bill of sale or anything. Wasnt thinking at the time, I trusted it was from a good friend of mine it was her husbands. edit: I shouldn't be jumping to the gun that it was stolen, it is a friend of mine, and I doubt it is.
