Some refurbs on ebay go cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180666453122&hlp=false&rvr_id=233190479240&clk_rvr_id=233190479240&crlp=1_263602_304652&UA=%3F*S%3F&GUID=f7ecb37412f0a0e6a4a55215ff814d4a&itemid=180666453122&ff4=263602_304652#ht_3431wt_905 I looked at this head unit myself but i despise usb/aux in the front, but thats may just be me.
  3. Was that a stang trying to get into the action at the end? lol nice cars.
  4. I've been keeping my eye on lithium batts mostly because of weight savings, but I doubt I'll be hopping in the lithium market until there's atleast some competition to drop prices a little.
  5. surprised it lasted as long as it did to be honest lol
  6. I buy old broken ones, you can keep your hard drive =)
  7. Lookin good! I just ordered 50 more feet of 1/0 and alot of krystal rca's myself, hopefully it will be here tomorrow
  8. I just got rid of all the sony parts I had, hopefully you can fix this without buying a new fan because sony parts are out of sight in price.
  9. If the fan is toasted however I forgot to mention that we were able to use the computer with a chill pad with no issues, not that i'd recommend it. Also I sell and part out laptops, if its an hp I may have a fan for you for a small charge. But i would definitely try to fix it without replacing it first.
  10. It probably wouldn't make it much past boot. I had a customers computer who had the same issue. My fix: Open the computer up and take the fan out, carefully pull the fan off the motor and clean it all up. Pour some lighter fluid on the motor and spin it by hand, let it dry out reinstall the fan blade reinstall the fan in the computer and if the fan isn't completely toasted this should fix it for atleast a few months if not years. 11. Ok...update...I was trying to charge it earlier still, and when I touched the negative of the charger on a good batteries negative terminal the amperage on the charger would actually rise and start charging. So I started messing around with the kinetik and I rolled it on its side and it sounds like something inside is rolling around, and there is a small crack under the screw on terminals so I'm thinking maybe the negative side of the battery is disconnected and broken internally. After watching xs powers vids of an open kinetik I think its quite possible this has happened by the way it looked like some batts were designed. WILD IDEA..hear me out. Could I discharge the battery completely using a clamp light or some sort of battery discharging device and make it safe enough to open this case to repair the battery? Is there anyone who could repair the ground on this thing?
  12. This is from the new L.A.S.E.R.S album, just thought this vid was deeeep if you listen to the lyrics.

  15. Yeah i didn't have anything to test the batts with, all my meters are at my campus house, I'm staying at my moms for a few weeks for summer break. So partially my fault, I trusted this kid i've had him on facebook for a while and he's friends with alot of my friends but i got duped. I'm going xs in the future, hopefully I can get these somewhat useable for the time being...
