Does that deck have on board sub on off selection? Make sure it's on

How were the old wires messed up? If they were cut for instance while the head unit was on you may have shorted the outputs on the deck. Likeliness that the new rcas are bad is really unlikely.

cool always kinda wondered, thought the weight of the coils could make some differences i guess.

Is it more about not wiring it low or just using coils with higher impedance?

I'm looking at the SSD12 now. Is it worth getting all the options? haha. I did one ssd 12 on a SAZ 1000 in my nieces mustang and it was really fantastic for the money. One of the best bang for the $ setups I have installed.

Fi SSD is a nice sub in that power range and budget too.

Twice. once about two days ago. Lucky the front is light so i just pulled it out by hand. Was mowing an area I normally dont and couldnt see the ground good since it was grown up pretty high and feel in the ditch too far. Rode a wheelie out of there. I ballasted the tires also and run them on lower pressure than recommended to get better down hill grip and stuff. Long as Im going up hill it cant be stopped. its going down bad slopes that are sketchy.

dont know if i will put some stereo stuff on it. Its pretty loud. Noise cancelling 3m bluetooth headphones with hearing protection I might just do in the future tho. My normal bluetooths are not loud enuff to compensate for the mower noise. I do got a cup holder. It'd sure be fun to watch someone run a zero turn while drunk. hell most cant drive this thing sober.

With 35 watt hid vs standard 55 watt halogen bulbs in my previous car i could tell by just putting my hand near the bulbs that the regular bulbs were in fact hotter than the HIDs.

you need a line out cable for ipad with RCA connectors or a line out with 3.5 mm jack, you will need to get an adapter to RCA if you go this route. the Rcas will then connect to the jl line driver and then out to an amp. i custom made mine with a hand full of parts and cables. also you may not need the 90 degree connector as you can take the plastic housing off of the 30 pin connector and bend the wires the desired direciton and hot glue them there. it will give you considerable extra room. The 90 is still the thinnest option but if you got the room you can save about $70. I dont know where soundman gets em but I cant find them anywhere else. $70 is just bit high for some thing I know can be made for less than a few bucks.

You dont have to have a bit one to do an ipad install. Im certain it is the best option but Im using just a JL CL-RLC and it sounds as good as any setup i have had.

The xp3000 by itself would do the trick based on what XS power recomends. You will not be able to put it under the hood since it cant be around the heat but you could Run one of those and add a D series under the hood and be golden.

so your dad used to compete and he has you running a prefab box? Well if was me on 600 watts id prob buy a Fi SSD and build a box for it with the extra sub budget. Later on upgrading to 1000 watt amp would be no issue, and you would be improving all around.
