that whole thing was a pissing contest anyway. a poorly worded joke that was taken as an insult to david's credibility and meade's build skills exploded the whole thing. as an unbiased observer who cant seem to invest any real emotion into anything on the internet (short of real world news), it all seemed rather childish to me.

too much to comment on but I dont think the US is going to tap its own reserves until we do creep over $5 a gallon at a minimum. personally, I've made it a point to cut out unnecessary trips since I started driving 12 years ago when gas hit a whopping 1$ a gallon, now I'm coasting as much as I can too

I have that amp powering 6.5 inch kappa comps in front and reference 5.25s in the rear, it does a very good job for me you'll just connect the speaker wire from the crossovers to the appropriate channels on the amp and use the amp crossover to set it to the rated high pass frequencey for your speakers (high pass = everything higher than the number you select on the amp will be allowed to go to the speakers). the crossover will then do its job with what is passed to it from the amp, seperating the higher freq. highs to the tweets and the lower higher and more mid bassish frequencies to the speaker itself.

At any rate, download a copy of virtual PC and run a virtual machine which WONT have thier cybersitter software on it. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/...pc/default.mspx All you will need then is a windows OS to put on the virtual machine and you can easily have a self contained environment to surf in at a disc space cost of less than 10gigs (of course it might eat up all the memory and cpu of your host OS but just use one at a time and you'll be fine, especially since the host will be win2000). You can then distribute the vpc image to the other people at your company for them to do the same thing.
