so i got these PA speakers that i bought. There is a 600 watt 15" sub along with a 50 watt tweeter in each box. Both drivers are rated 8 ohms and they are wired in parellel so at the terminal it shows 4 ohms. my question is, is there a way to maby put a resistor in line with the tweeter so the sub gets most of the power. cause i already blew 2 tweeters cause i turned it up to much so it would hit some bass but then the tweeter could not handle it. So what are the possible options so that the sub gets more power and the tweeter gets less? Please let me know. thanks.

Times 2 Would piss the neihbors off all the time. I just slowly gatherd random subs and made boxes for them and just kept stacking them higher and higher. I think at one point i had like 2 15s 4 12s 4 10s and some 3 way towers all stacked up in huge hedious boxes. shit was nuts to see but thats what i did when i was 15 and had nothing to do

Why would you need a power inverter? for the highs some recievers take 4 ohm loads. and for the sub i highly recomend buying a plate amp as they are called. look at these: http://www.partsexpress.com/webpage.cfm?we...ectGroup_ID=505 I got 1 pioneer 12" running off a plate amp and the box i made my self and finished it nice. and it is by far the best powered sub ive herd for only 175 that i put into everything for it. And you would not want to run a 12v amp to them anywase, it would just be to much work and a waste of money.

so yo have 2 amps going to one sub? if so how did you hook them up? "Linking or Strapping" is when you connect 2 amps to one sub and run it like that. When doing this you usually have a master and a slave. The master controls the slave so there is no need for that. Just explain quick how your set up.

4 hours at 70 bucks an hour at some joints. i say do it yourself, gaskets are not that hard to do. i would first make sure there is no air in the system, and if there is get all the air out of the system. -

cd skipping i would get a new deck, i used to have a deck that would skip and then it would stop playing really made me angree. so i sold the deck to some 16 year old and bought a new one. also bat and alternator are your best guess, if your cheap at least get a extra bat in there. what size wire you running?

A good rap song that i always like to play on my subs is "Sippin' On Some Sizzurp" i think i got a remix of it cause the beggining is diffrent. Got lots of bass and some deep to.
