I have a friend that wants to keep the factory radio (as much as possible) in his 2003 BMW 745i. He wants to add the use of his iPhone and iPod to the car. Car has the navigation, with the i-Drive controls and steering wheel controls. I looked around and found a couple options and I was curious if anyone on here has done this before and what did they use.

Who would be interested in buying a pre-cut box to your specs. All you would have to do is glue and screw. could even countersink the screws. Pefer to do local within the Houston area to avoid shipping until this thing takes off. Looking for bites to see if this is worth moving forward with. If it looks like it will take off and I have several hits I will move forward and start gathering more information about what each person wants. one note though no funky curves at the moment. how ever if you want a tube style box that will consist of several rings and a back that might be possible. I am actually looking at making a box like that at the moment just have t figure out the air space and port. Similar to a bazooka tube but with 4 ports instead of just one. I will keep you posted on that design once I get the specs.

I'm glad to hear that its been resolved. To some degree. The person who stole it need whats coming to him, karma is a bitch. And he's going to have to buy better batteries or he might try it again with another alternator vendor. Maybe you should put the word out to the major h/o alt companies to be on the look out for an alternator ordered for 08 avalanche in that area. If they were dumb e-nuff to do it once they will be more than likely dumb e-nuff to do it again. that or just wait for the shipper to have someone call about where is my package. tell them im sorry it didnt make it out today problem with the truck. and you can come and get it and have the police waiting for them...

question. Did you seal the entire car, and repaint the whole car? Or just blend the new paint to the old paint and re-clear the entire car. just curious. Regardless it looks good.
