  1. Not sure if this has been answered somewhere else before, but what camera do you use? Both the pictures and videos in this thread are stellar!
  2. Bought some kick pods for my blazer, fast shipping, direct fit in great shape, even had some deadener left on it
  3. Link to said Spectrum spray? All i'm finding is edible cooking sprays.
  4. Haha yeah I was talkin about you, but thats fine, thanks! Gonna completely cover front doors, rear doors, rear tailgate(bottom part of hatch), back two side panels(between C-pillar and rear), and probably the headliner from the back seat back.
  5. Looking to buy the 40 sq ft. pack of Damplifier, was wondering if there's any benefits of ordering through the rep on here? Either way is fine, but just wonderin!
  6. under the hood? i think he was talkin about trunk.. OH. my b, swear I read under the hood somewhere, and was like "I'm not sure how that'd help" haha but nonetheless, clean install
  7. Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on what subs to get, I'm wanting to upgrade to some higher quality subs, and wanted to know what you thought would be best, both for the money and performance. If it helps at all, I would be getting two and putting them in a ported box)
  8. Man, I love the SMD Forums

  9. alright, that shouldn't be too bad. and I know it varies a lot on the car, hatchback vs. trunk, etc. but generally speaking, what are the key points to make sure are covered?
  10. awesome thanks for the info and everything, and yeah ive heard pretty good stuff about second skin, but how much should i plan on shelling out to do a big trunk like mine? and on the being able to hear it on the outside thing, i dont mean to piss people off haha i mean i just dont want it silent on the outside
  11. I'm wanting to know if dampening material (specifically for the trunk) is worth the money, and if so, what brand/type would you suggest? I have 2 Kicker comp 15's in a ported box (right now the airspace is below specs, but im gettin a new box soon) in the trunk of a 1993 Caddy Deville. Like I want it to still be loud on the outside, and it doesn't really rattle, just low-toned vibration of the trunk lid itself. I want to know if using insulation would improve the sound quality inside and out? And if the cost of it is worth it for the results, thanks! And feel free to share any experience, etc.
  12. Finally got the picture thing going! My amp is off to the right side mounted on the box. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w380/CorbinTKing/speaker.jpg
  13. Oh okay thanks! I get it now haha. But now on the chamber size, how in the world do I get a box to be 6 cubic ft per sub in a car??
  14. Oh yeah definitely not haha I'm in this thing for the long haul, gotta always be upgrading. And yeah I was curious to the truth behind that amp actually pushing 2000 watts. And alright I'll try that with photobucket tomorrow. But so 0 gauge would work? Not questioning it, but how does that affect the overall draw off the amp? Honestly, I just know the smaller (number) the gauge, the bigger the diameter of the wire.
  15. And sorry, how do you post a picture? I can't figure out how to add stuff to 'my media' and I tried copying and pasting, but it didn't show up.
