So just as the title says, how about Cadence acoustics? I'm trying to pick out the amp to run my basic system and I am thinking the Cadence c9. I would be running it in 3 channel mode with rockford t1625-s components for the front end and a skar 10" for the sub. But do cadence amps do rated power? How is their sound quality? Thanks!

That doesn't really have anything to do with the clipping volume of the headunit, that's just making sure your amp is tuned right. Aryone out there have a 7400HD and a dd1 that could check it? Apologies, I suppose you were wondering when the INTERNAL amp clipped Yeah no problem. Yeah I'm pretty sure they are the same except for the Bluetooth. That's good to hear!

Hey just wondering if anyone out there has a rockford fosgate pbr-300x4 amp they are willing to get rid of? Thanks

Hey guys I just got the Pioneer DEH-7400HD and I was wondering what volume it clipped at? I searched around and couldn't find it. Thanks in advance!

no i meant 30.95 Hz. That's what I came up with after I added up all the displacements for real, your dowels go the 32.5 inch way right?
-
because you are adding a 9 inch extension. 21.5+9= 30.5 Then you see I added 9 to the length of external port? that shows the calculator that those extra 9 inches will not be inside the box therefore they will not be subtracted from the net volume. EDIT: Your final tuning will be 30.95Hz if you add that 9" extension.

I think I understand what your saying. You go from this: To this: After sub displacement that should put you at just under 32Hz assuming your port extension is 13 x 4.5 as well. Wait for a second opinion though, I may be wrong on that.

looks good! At first I didn't like the fabric you used to wrap the doors but after taking a second look i think its pretty sick!

So I have them installed and it seemed to sound best with the dB set to -2. As for the axis i tried it out and it seemed to sound better set to on, I'm no sure if it actually did or if it was just my mind telling me it sounded better. My next question is since I don't have rear tweeters to connect to the rear channels, should i hook up the crossovers and just not have a tweeter connected or just leave the rear speakers as a full range speaker?

Hello I recently picked up 2 pairs of rockford fosgate T1652-S component speakers and have a couple questions on them. First, only one of the pairs has tweeters (I got them used) and if I connect all four crossovers can I send the wires for the midbass speakers to each individual speaker but connect the tweeter outputs from two crossovers to 1 tweeter? Here is a picture to help show the idea, excuse my paint skills. Regular wiring: What I'm wondering if is possible: Next, I'm wondering how I should have the axis switch and dB switch set. The component set in the door has the tweeter right up by the rearveiw mirror and the midbass speaker right at the bottom of the door next to the kick panel. As for the dB switch I'm not sure at all how to set it and could use some advice. Here is the what the manual says about the switches: Also, I'm not sure if it is important or not but for now these will only be running off the head unit until I can save up for a 4 chanel. Thanks in advance!

Traded with KronicHigh for a set of rockford T1652-S components. Great condition and quality, and packaged very well! Easy guy to deal with and responded to all of my questions quickly. Great transaction would definitely do business with him again! Thanks

Ok right now I'm planning the DCON ins a ported box running off of a Rockford 5 channel to power the components and sub. Anyhow, would there be interference if I mounted the crossovers for the t1652-Ss in the trunk then ran the wires up to the front doors (not next to power wires)? I want to distplay them but without drilling holes in the factory interior.

I've looked into a couple subs and have it narrowed down to a couple of options. Sundown E10: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Sundown-Audio-E10-Subwoofer400W-E-SERIES.html SKAR IVX-10: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/SKAR-Audio-IVX%252d10%22-300W-SUBWOOFER.html DCON-10: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/DCON%252d10-D4-%E2%80%93-Sound-Solutions-Audio-10%22-300W-Dual-4%252dOhm-DCON-Series-Subwoofer.html At the moment I am leaning towards the DCON because although it has a lower RMS it will be easier to find an amp that fits my budget and I am planning to put a thick piece of glass or plexi on the back of the trunk and I think the magnet on it looks the best. As for an amp for running the components or sub I am completely undecided.

Thanks for all the tips guys! I just picked up 2 sets of Rockford T1652-S components. One of them doesn't have the tweeters. I plan to install one set in the front doors and put the pair without the tweeters in the rear deck. My question is they are rated at 100W RMS but is it bad if I run them at say 50-75W RMS? How much will that decrease the sound quality? What are some suggestions of amps that I could get to run them with? Here is the one I picked out at glance: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_34761_Rockford-Fosgate-R400-4D.html Would it be OK to install them running off the stock head unit until I get my amp and new HU?
