    if your trying to get your car audio to 16 volt batterys id run them seperate jmo. Your pockets better be deep if your gonna change all your electrical over, i wont say it cant be done but imho it'd be dumb to do it to a daily driver, theres no use to do it

    IMO for sound quality, id pick up an onyx 1000.4 4 channel amp their cheap 160 you cant beat that. Then id pick up a set or 2 of either infinity reference components, hurtz or however you spell it, or kicker. For a headunit best bang for your buck is prolly gonna be a good alpine headunit with some eq settings so you can fine tune what you want and for a sub ummmm probably skar 8's or 10's as they are a cheaper sub but good sub with a sundown audio amp or audioque amp. That would be my budget build if it were me

    thatd be good as you dont have a ridiculous amount of bass so sound deadener is not really needed now as long as you can deal with a little rattle every now and then. When you put your new components in then you wont be able to hear the rattle lol but seriously id do components, then eq, then sound deadener, then subs. That way you can buy the kind of cheaper stuff after you get components out the way before you pick up the subs. Volt gauge is not really needed as you only have 4 gauge wiring so it cant be draining your battery that bad if you need to get a volt meter out while your car is playing at home at full tilt and check your battery one day lol

    I dont kno you man but normally i think everybody deserves a second chance as i have been in many shootings and robberys, been the robber and the one getting robbed. But i have to say every time i loaded that gun and drove to the scene i knew the consequences i would have to face if i shot sumbody that day. And after all ive done i am not in jail thank the lord and im a changed man now. I look at ppl that kill for no reason as scum now. I signed your petition and i hope it works man. Im sorry about your loss ive lost alot of homeboys to dumbass ppl shooting either the wrong house up or shooting the house up while my homies were there and i know how it feels to lose a loved one man. SOrry for your loss again.

    if i was you, i would buy some fatmat for sound deadener not the best out there but it will get the job done, or i strongly recomend buying some second skin spectrum, for 85 bucks plus shipping it'll be the best stuff for your money you just paint it on and wala your car is sound deadend. Then i would spend a little bit of money on getting rid of those 3 way speakers and buy you a good set of components. Ya an eq would help butttt your putting them on some walmart sonys, you can shine a turd but in the end its still gonna be a turd ya kno? just my opinion...

    tarball i never said i couldnt save up i am jw as to if there is any other batts out there a lil cheaper but basically the same thang. and yes im talking 5k rms, i dont kno why id need a 2nd alt i was thinking 1 270 amp alt 1 d6500 up front and 2 3100s in the back but wanted to kno what others were thinking or running as far as batterys are concerned.

    alright i know this might have been answered before so before you say use the search button i have and have not returned the answers i wanted so im asking. I have a 97 tahoe which i am looking to run 5k total watts. I have been researching batterys and every one ive found has been ridiculously high, which you get what you pay for but i am just wondering as to if anybody has any different batterys on their car that they run for the system. Im going to get a mechman or dc 270 amp alternator and ive ran some wires from front batt to hook up to back batterys. Lemme know what yall think

    ok ok ya i have already been looking at talking to lawyers and getting all my shit together. im starting my business plan and reading alot of articles from ppl that have started a biz so im picking up alot of stuff like i said. But the vendors wont be a prob ik that now, i just have to get my name out there thats the main thing but no problem with that either hopefully

    ya i know that will be hard but im a "hustler" all around if you know what i mean but i got out that life and want to start a legal way to get money. So i can get money by any means and can sell rubbers to a monk and ice to a penguin lol so hopefully this will be the same but better then on the streets.

    Ibleedmusic- i can do alarms i have installed quite a few, i can do lambo doors, suicide doors, leds, hids, custom fabrication, install tvs, lifts, rebuild motors i can do just about anything that needs to be done to a car. been learning by working on cars with my dad since i was 8 cars and trucks are my life. Nothing like gettin out from under a car and you got oil all over you and looking like a miner from all the black on you.

    preciate all of you and ya i kno i cant just jump in the biz and kno audio. I know i aint a know it all. I just want to get into some money and do what i love at the same time. There is an audio shop around where im at but the ppl that own it i think are dicks and jackasses so i choose not to go there. I used to be friends with the guy but seen how he talked shit about erybody else behind their back so i stopped chilling with em. i am digging all the info yall are giving me. am writing it down as we go lol. keep it coming

    I am starting a new business as i have been doing car audio for about 5 years so i decided i was ready to make money on doing it. I am jw as to how other owners got started, and how they got vendors to look at them. I want to get started and i know it will take awhile for my customers to get built up and companys to start looking at me. But i just wnat some pointers like i said on how to do it.

    You are on the right track you have to do an elimination. There is 3 things wrong like your buddy said Either your rcas are shitty, your ground is not grounded good or your amp is going bad. I would check the ground, make sure the paint is stripped of the body if it is grounded to the body or the frame. If that doesnt fix it i would get a good set of rcas. If that doesnt work then i would check into another amp. Hope this helps man.

    252chevyboyz where you located in north carolina? and nah dont get the welding cable from lowes thats hard copper wire. As in not as many wire strand, the more the wire strand count the more flex you have in theory. So if you buy welding lead look around on the internet to see the strand count on it so you buy stuff you can bend dont "jump the gun". You'll waste your money and be mad that you did.

    I am going to be putting in about 4-5000 watt system and i have a 170a alternator at idle and was wondering if i bought a xs5100 would that be fine for the rear batt. with a d3400 in the front for starting battery?

    welding wire is no harder to use than the other wire if you know what your doing. I love welding wire, it doesnt flex as much but you dont need that much flex in a truck to run it on the chassis.
