    Looking to get a 1 - 2 TB external hard drive. Anyone know of any deals? I've got to get the wife SOMETHING for Christmas.

      it might be cheaper just to get a 2tb hard drive then a case for less then $100.do you want a portable or tower

      Never thought of that. I don't know the major differences. Portable would be nice, how "portable" is a tower? Probably go with whatever is most affordable.

      A "tower" is the same thing as the computer part of a desktop. Portable is something you can just plug into the USB slot of any computer.
