There's an XS that will fit in, & work in nearly every application. What is a "96R"? EDIT: My bad, ... 96R = a BATT type? If so, just match up specs ... A little more here or there does not hurt.

Introduce Yourself
Sutliff replied to meade916's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Name is Jason, & I live near Syracuse, NY, USA. I am disabled due to a workplace injury in 2001. I discovered who Steve was approximately two years ago while fussin' around on YouTube. I was looking up/at car audio stuff. A while later a search of Steve turned up SMD, & I discovered the link for these Forums ... & I signed up .... May 2012, & became a Bronze Member that November ... I felt access to this type of community was worth it. 532 posts, & 1 warning point later, ... -

Go ahead & rock it! I do in my 03 Monte Carlo SS. And it is the only BATT I have in my car ... pics in sig, build too. -
I have a D3400 underhood, that runs everything. I have the i-Bar551 Side post kit. I am going back to using my OEM cables on the side, & want to use something like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17747_Stinger-SHT303.html on the top for my other connections. Can I use the 551 kit I have now & this 580 Brass terminal kit for the top http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38803_XS-Power-580.html & be all set, or is there a different i-Bar kit I must buy to go top & side post mounting the way I have described? Hopefully I was clear in my explanation. Thank you, Folks.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to US! SMD Forum is now 7!
Sutliff replied to meade916's topic in SMD NEWS / ANNOUNCEMENTS
I am just over 1 1/2 years in, & love it here. Yeah I have 1 Warning Point, but what really kept me around was after sharing one of my first builds I was nominated for SOTM by a third party ... made me feel real proud, & that I was "fitting in". I think I will be here for MOAR than the next 7 years, because I am sure SMD has more than 7 to go ... Be proud, Steve. -
