The big 3 in your vehicle is a little differant. You have to put your ground through thr battery current sensor

So I can either use the dual harness and the 2 pin alt will control the 4 pin (what Jeff is doing) or use the vcm and turn it down when not in need?

That's what I want to do. But when I don't need it to charge high do I just turn it down and that's that. Is basically my question

Im doing the same thing as you are in the tahoe. Oem for truck and oem for audio side. I will get the harness but is there like an on and off for the vcm?

So how does this actually work. I will be running dual alts. Oem alt for the truck itself and ho alt just for audio side. Now I know if I'm demoing I can put it up in the high 14s or whatever. But what happens when I dont need it?
