Air can only represent one instant of motion at one time, yet we can still differentiate between multiple audio sources. Can anyone answer why this is?

Think of this as well, how do speakers reproduce so many different frequencies at one time cleanly. The engineering behind it is crazy to me.

Here is a nice write up on the sum of multiple frequencies: http://clas.mq.edu.au/speech/acoustics/waveforms/adding_waveforms.html

also using electricity to generate multiple sounds just using wave forms. like, how is an 800hz wave from a snare so different to a 800hz wave from a human voice when it comes to electricity?
