  1. Scores are scores. 150.8 sealed on AC 500w 145.5 Drivers open 600w on TL All those vids of the Hummer are great thanks for taking them. -Drew
  2. At my level? nothing. At some point the conductivity becomes a factor where copper or various other metals can handle electrical load better than aluminum. But, for people like me I don't think it is much of an issue. -Drew
  3. Thanks! It also adds flexibility for future amp combinations without having to mess with the wiring as much. -Drew
  4. They keep the port the same width as it transitions around the corner. The port actually widens and shrinks and ideally you want to keep it the same width which is where the corner piece comes into play. Unless you are doing something high power or playing with a meter it won't make much of a difference at all to the ear. -Drew
  5. I know I have red power/ground haha get off my nutz copper is copper. -Drew
  6. Today I felt productive and decided to do something about my power/ground distribution disaster. I used a stick of Aluminum from Lowes 1" wide by .25" thick as well as a handful of Allen bolts and a spacer to allow the bolts to pass through the bar without hitting the box if needed. Cut them to 8" long Drilled and tapped with a 3/8th and 1/4th threw them in the trunk and plugged up wires! They are nor perfectly straight, Unfortunately I don't have a drill press on the patio. buttoned back up! -Drew
  7. I use remote wire. You can by it in all the colors of the rainbow at your local Autozone and the size generally doesn't matter. -Drew
  8. yeah i don't see this as a full on "vs" thread even though it is in the title. As soon as somebody asks which will be louder or sound better it will go downhill very quickly though. -Drew
  9. I guess I was vauge. Yeah down the former it is only a few inches but kranny has a point as well. -Drew
  10. You do know that it all ends up as a single strand of wire as it travels down the former right? -Drew
  11. Good luck selling with no title.... I'd pull the motor and put it in something fierce. -Drew
  12. Thanks for the responses, I'll be out of country soon and I'll be pocketing extra money while I'm gone and will purchase amps when I get back. -Drew
  13. I was hoping I could meter and run that amp until I go to Japan but after a scope and maybe three short demo sessions it popped about 30sec after I got to the event. Oh well. Hopefully I'll have new amps by the time I get back from Japan --Drew
  14. I don't think so he said he has had that setup for 10years now and only burped it. He had a "weird" electrical setup that involved him driving at 14v but burping with 16v batteries and the car off. -Drew
  15. I managed to burn an amp then rewire and burp with my 4ch and do a 150.8 woot 1st place with class A/B power. Adam, I still owe you twenty bucks man you left before I could hit the ATM -Drew
  16. I'll have pix up soon. I think it was a great turnout considering it is just an average audio shop in Norfolk It was good to meet ALL the SMD Hampton Roads guys I didn't expect that either. -Drew
  17. If you sit at 12.5 with the car on your alternator is not working properly. Once you replace it you can try and get as much battery storage as possible and put them on a charger every time the car is parked at your house. -Drew
  18. Don't break it and you won't have to worry about warranty crap. Drew
