sounds like fun but i have (again) a 300lb sound system and a 235 lb body....i probably wouldn't do as good as someone who is at the strip every week and serious about it. It would be fun to try a few times but i really am not much into racing. It's fun to hit the NOS though and feel the kick once in a while.You should still take it, a track day is still fun even if you drive a 20 second pinto.
