I should have said any sub meant to peak in a certain range not just spl subs. -
Sundown gave you an answer on the x series already and no one will give you a better answer about it than them. They are specifically designed for low end. It's not like sundown hides that fact so if people aren't reading or listening and buying a driver not suited to what they wanted that is their fault.

I wouldn't want my subs to play up to 80 hz anyways that's what the mid/ mid bass are for. Either way the sound of the driver is all going to come down to enclosure, enclosure, enclosure unless you are buying spl specific drivers meant to peak at certain frequencies.

Why do you think sloppy bass comes with that? It's all in what the enclosure is designed for.

In a true Sq setup the subs are there just to fill in the very bottom end and should blend in seamlessly and almost be as if they are not there. I don't think you'll have that with a 3k rms sub stage. I'm also in the sounds good to me category though as I like more low end too my music.

There comes a point when you reached the limit and any extra power is just turned into heat and we all know heat is no bueno. -
Loudest I've heard was a 55. I can't even imagine what a 60+ would be like.

Not close enough. And your electrical will be fucked up if you wire a 14 volt batt parallel to a 12 volt batt.

What's the trick miguel? More watts at less voltage sounds good too me. They are cheaper too so I'm failing to see the issue.

I work on my own cars too but if a dealer offered me free oil changes for 7 years I wouldn't be changing my own oil either. If they screw something up its going to be on them so why worry about it?

Nice. Those things have tons of potential and I'd go with the ecoboost over the v8 too, They can make almost 100hp over stock with just an exhaust. Can't wait to see what you do to it.
