Thanks took me about 2.5 hours to draw. Frame was a little tricky to draw. Its almost to scale but a little error but its fairly close to accurate. -

Hey, that reminds me, I have BBP6 on my HD somewhere. I tried using it a while back, couldn't get it to work out like I thought it should so I stopped using it...seemed too advanced for me. I'm gonna have to check it out and keep messing with it.So check out this box, this is why I asked the question...I always see boxes done like this instead of close to the port as suggested More or less people do that for appearance. Ive never heard a difference. Is this box for SA's?

Pry 5cu ft. That's what the Z v.2 and NS v.2 like. -
6 12s BUT the box will have to be about 12cubes and about 120sq in of port tuned at 30hz for nice flat response with a good deal of output. Ive messed with SA-12s enough to know what they like. I have my 6 SA12's in 12 cubes with 130" of port tunes to 34 and it hammers. I have played with port sizes from 87" up to 150 and the I agree with Eric about the 120-130 range. Tuning is a different story, I dont see a need to tune that low, but to each there own.. I assumer you're in a suv do you goto the windowline or to the headrest? Does it hit hard 55hz to 65hz? His is actually in a car walled. But yes his 55 to 65 range still plays hard iirc

Okay we're done here. Nothing but a pissing match with people that don't know how to aim. -
I understand impedance rise is a big factor in SPL comps, but must I be worried about this for a daily groundpounder system?? I answered your question.

Sundown SAZ-3500 Is Warm/Hot
Eric B replied to tsuch20's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Well a heat sink is made for a reason.. I mean if you don't expect something to heat up that is drawing more current than your house in a footprint the size of a skateboard, your nuts. If you think its the ground which can help contribute to it add some more runs to it. Or find a better spot. -
Build the frame in your car first. then design the enclosure. You design like you designing a regular box, whatever that may be.
