  1. 3D doesnt work for me... born cross-eyed and multiple surgeries later my eyes will never work together for the 3D effect to work.
  2. 2 DC Motors pending. @THEKINGsBACK, there $100 OBO per motor.

Pictures: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PAYPAL ONLY PM ME FOR SERIOUS INQUIRES
  4. Thats a little to large imo. Ive never ran a Level 5 but have had an XL 18 and it seemed to like 6-6.5 with about 12-14sq in of port per cube. Yes the Level 5 and XL are different subs but there not that different.
  5. Its good you dug it up. Ive been looking for this thread!
  6. If you go with the the Sundown Z v.2 you will not be dissapointed.
  7. SOME SUBS DONT LIKE 12-16sq in of PORT!!! Just because Fi recommends it for there subs doesnt mean its universal for everything!!!
  8. Cant judge motor force by magnet size always. It could have a humongous gap.
  9. You do know that a smaller port gives you more cone control right? 6-10 sq in of port per cube is the lowest Id go. Yes, I have done 6sq in of port per cube once. It was for 2 Level 4s in 5 cubes with 30sq in of port, sounded great and still had a good amount of output. Give it a shot.
  10. Shrinking your port is about the only way.
  11. The X Series won't be out for awhile. The Z v.2 don't cost an arm and a leg and are AWESOME sounding and have good output. All you need is a 3500 and put them in a 10cube box and tune in the low 30s and have 200sq in of port and they will sing in that box. Trust me done it a couple times. Z v.2 to date are my favorite sounding subs.
  12. Some SMD 18s would be perfect in that area. Or some Z v.2 or NightShades v.2
  13. Silk all day everyday. I have Aluminum Magnesium tweets right now, there not bad but a tad too harsh on rock.
  14. Well just run 1 12 at 4ohm (assuming you have dual 2s) and put them in about 2cubes with 20-25sq in of port and tune it at about 30-32Hz
  15. You can never hit bottom plate with a SA-12. Youll blow the woofer apart before it ever thinks of touching. Beat the hell out of it all you want. Ive had 3 on a 4500 at .66.....took every bit of it and they werent even phased.
  16. If you know what your doing you can throw 1200rms per one all day and they won't sweat.
  17. Id like to come down but I dont think itll happen.
